Sonata Boynton Beach

Activity Director Maria is a credit to her profession. She is awesome. She is attentive and intune with all of the residents. No one could show more love, care and professionalism towards her residents and their families. We're blessed to have her.

The staff at Sonata Boynton Beach is absolutely AMAZING! On several occasions, Erica (the Lifestyle Director), Lindsay (the Memory Care Director), and several of the wonderful nurses at Sonata have brought groups of Sonata residents to our art studio (ArtSea Living) in Boynton Beach to paint pottery. Each time, I am blown away by the level of compassion and care the staff show toward their residents. They go above and beyond to ensure that each resident, regardless of their memory care needs, has a meaningful and enjoyable experience. Some of the residents had a dedicated nurse who sat with them and assisted them throughout the entire activity, helping them paint and making sure they were comfortable and engaged with their artwork. Other residents, who were more independent, were given the freedom to be creative on their own. Yet, even those who could work independently still received much care and support from the staff, ensuring they felt encouraged and had a smile on their face.... Making sure they had some good ol' FUN! What truly stands out is the personalized attention they give to each senior. I could tell they really KNOW the unique needs of every resident. The warmth and familial atmosphere they create is heartwarming and speaks volumes about their dedication to the well-being of their residents. Erica and Lindsay treated everyone like they were a true member of their own family. It honestly brought a happy tear to my eye to see that there are still people out there that really, truly CARE! Which sadly, is something I question from time to time. I cannot recommend Sonata Boynton Beach highly enough. From what I have seen.... I have seen a number of memory care facilities in South Florida, as I am a vendor to a number of them. I had the unfortunate obligation to to select a memory care facility for my sister. Out of all of the facilities I had been in, none comes close to the experience I had with Sonata of Boynton Beach. It is a true model of what a memory care facility should be. Sonata Boynton Beach is a true gem. The staff is the most dedicated and caring group of true professionals I have ever seen..Maria, their Memory Care Director, treats all of the residents as family. Her energy, creativity, and devotion to her residents is amazing and rarely seen in any environment. There is never a dull moment for the residents. They brought my sister into their family, and given her condition, she is beginning to thrive, as a member of their family. Residents help each other, and aides are ever present and unbelievably caring. My sister is much happier and thriving so much more than she was in our home care. Marsha, their Medical Director arranged all of the special needs my sister required and is a master in her field. As a retired teacher, I learned that teaching is an art, not a skill or craft. Memory care is an art as well. The staff at Sonata Boynton Beach are masters in every respect.

Maria is the supervisor in MC. My parent moved in before Maria was given the position. Although there were activities before her arrival, MC took off in the activities for the residents. There is exercise, music, singing, discussion groups, storytelling, trips. Not only in my parent, but I have see great positive changes in many of the residents because they are actively engaged. We owe that to Maria.
