Solista Orem

I came to visit my grandma here. She tries to be positive about the food, but this is horrible. I’m so bummed the people we trusted to care for her, are constantly feeding the residents junk like this. How is this serving our most vulnerable, not to mention our most well seasoned and life experienced elders, who are literally dependent on Solista for care? This was just a tiny part of the tip of the iceberg, from rude behavior from the staff, to blatant neglect, this place needs some work, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to put their family in here. Plus, it’s 2300 a month for a bedroom. Get real. A whole apartment with a separate bedroom is half the price. I’d rather pay for a full apartment and real care than this place. DONT DO IT! I've been associated with this community for a few years now and ive always been impressed. The residents here are so sweet its very much a community and an active one at that, they always have activities everyday, movies, ice cream partys, local artists concerts. Even stuff you'd never expect like water balloon fights, they really treat each person custom to there needs and try to give them as much freedom as there capable of and dont just treat everyone as if there fragile or sick. It really feels like a home here the food is awesome the cooks take there job very seriously and truly want everyone to enjoy what there eating. If theres a problem they fix it and same with the rest of the staff, they have genuine connection with the residents and care, while handling all the stress of events and sick residents and stressed out family members. And the building is always getting better there housekeeping and maintenance team is awesome aswell! I've really enjoyed my time around solista and hope one day my parents can also join a community like this. Thanks for all you do!

I love the staff. They are very accommodating and pleasant to work with. They take good care of us. I also love how they give us 3 choices at our meals so you can always find something you like. Our housekeeping does an incredible job at keeping our rooms clean and our servers are very polite and patient with the residents who keep changing their minds when ordering.

I serve as a religious leader at the Solista. The staff there as been so kind to let us hold activities there several times a month. The staff has been so helpful with coordinating events, helping with set up and take down of activities. It is a pleasure to work with them.
