Mom & Dad moved into Jamestown during one of the beautifully decorated holiday seasons at Jamestown. There, they were greeted by loving, friendly staff. Our parents happily lived at Jamestown for about 6 and a half years between the two of them, & they were always treated with great love & respect by all. We are forever grateful to Marianne Hohrein, the amazing heart of Jamestown for the excellent care & service that our parents received until the very end from her & each member of the Jamestown staff including Wanda, Tami, CNA’s, cleaning staff, dining room staff, Marleen Oaks (hospice nurse), et cetera. We don’t remember everyone’s name, but we will always remember how each staff member made us all feel very special. Mom lived in assisted living at first & later in memory care. She very much enjoyed & looked forward to the wonderful Jamestown activities on & off-sight. In the end, during the Covid restrictions, the great staff lovingly rolled a piano into Mom’s room & lovingly sang hymns to her while holding her hand. Who does this? Family, and this is what Jamestown is. Dad lived in memory care the entire time. Dad always loved to help others & the excellent staff always helped him feel helpful until the end. He was very happy & during his final, amazing Easter feast at Jamestown he enthusiastically expressed that he was doing GREAT! This sums it all up, Jamestown is great. Jamestown is a great family.

My 95-year-old mother has been a Jamestown resident for a year. She moved in after she had an accident that restricted her mobility. My wife and I looked at assisted living facilities throughout Utah Valley and chose the Courtyard at Jamestown because of its reputation, high quality facilities, and friendly reception when we visited. I asked several medical professionals who attended my mother and, to a person, they recommended the Courtyard at Jamestown as the best assisted living facility in Utah Valley. My mother is very happy there and as a family we feel, without hesitation, we made the right choice. My mother was immediately welcomed by the staff and residents who made a special effort to get to know her interests and needs and ensure she was included in as many activities as she felt comfortable attending. Everyone I talk to on the staff knows my mother by name and often comments on how she is doing and how happy they are to have her there. The front office staff and management were very helpful and welcoming during the move-in process and they ensured my mother immediately felt at home with her new friends. The activities are exceptional; Jamestown focuses on the whole person concept of mind, culture, body, and spirit. There's always something going on and my mother particularly enjoys excursions, arts and crafts, musical events, movies, and bingo. The food is exceptional and the wait and kitchen staff are very attentive to my mother's special dietary requirements. I talk to the medical staff several times a month and they are always aware of my mother's needs and will quickly assist with whatever care is needed. As wonderful as the facilities and food are, what makes Jamestown special are the residents and staff. It is truly an exceptional community and I recommend it without hesitation.

Jamestown has always been so welcoming to family and friends visiting to their loved ones. They are kind and make sure the patients there are loved and cared for like their own. I am so grateful for them in taking care of my grandpa! The only suggestion I have is to make the sign in process a little smoother! I have had to wait for quite a while for someone to come get the door for me when I am visiting, but rather than that, no complaints!

The facility is beautiful, and so welcoming. The residents all love it. I had the opportunity to speak with several residents and they each spoke about how happy they are and that they wish they would have moved in sooner. The activity schedule is robust. The grounds are beautiful with walking paths, a pond and beautiful gardens. The food also looked amazing. I wish I had time to stay and eat. Many residents spoke about how delicious the food is at every meal. It really felt like resort style living. It is beautiful, clean and smells wonderful. It is obvious the staff loves the residents as well. It was great to see all the interactions. It is a beautiful option for assisted living in Provo.
