As President of the Belmont & Redwood Shores Rotary Club, I would like to shout out to Shiv Kapoor and the amazing staff at Silverado Memory Care Facility. Shiv recently hosted an event to the community on “How to Prepare on the Cost of Aging”. His hospitality was outstanding and everyone enjoyed the delicious spread of food and gifts which were raffled off in the lovely living room. We were welcomed with warmth and compassion - just the way their residents are treated. I’ve only heard wonderful stories from families who have had a loved one there. Knowing Shiv there is no doubt that this is a testament of how loved and respected their residents are. If you have loved ones with early signs of dementia, Silverado and staff are a great resource!

Silverado is a great memory care option in the area for families navigating dementia care. They provide thoughtful, individualized support, and the staff go above and beyond in how they interact with the residents. During my visits, I’ve observed staff interacting with residents in a calm, respectful, and genuinely compassionate manner. Shiv is an absolute gem!

Just like all of the rest of these corporate run places- it's used car salesman dealership. "Top of the line!" "We have the tools most other facilities don't have!". What they don't tell you is they are Def short staffed, rotating administration/ management/ social services. So if there is issues- you will be forced to get a private caregiver that doesn't even do any care- just a sitter that Silverado appoints. All while you wait for the medication and care you are promised for over a month. The management and admin are sales people. I can't stress that enough. If you are actually checking out the place for a loved one- drop in and see the care for yourself, unannounced. All the "neighborhoods". There are some wonderful nurses, nursing assistants, activity assistants, etc. And we thank God for them. And many of the staff truly does care for the residents and gets to know them and their family.. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are sad and decor is awful. And I would be willing to bet half of the staff aren't actually trained for dementia/ memory care. There is so much potential here. But very poorly run and barely any communication with family, doctors and facility. Such a disappointment.

Hello, I am in the mortgage business and part of what I do is help seniors with the cost of aging and some times that involves making tough decisions when they can no longer remain in there home. Silverado Memory Care has been recommended many times and I have wtinessed great results. I have toured the campus/facility and it is a very nice establishment. Great location in Belmont.
