My mom was taking wonderful care of my father after his Alzheimer's diagnosis. She did a great job but it was too hard on her and neither my mom or my dad was living their best life. Since my dad has moved to Silverado he has a lot more "freedom" but is still safe and cared for. He is also a lot more active and social. The large outside patio is fantastic for the residents, like my father, that enjoy walking. Though my mother misses my father she can visit him anytime and have a meal with him without being his caregiver. I enjoy being able to visit my dad and eat meals with him and know that he is cared for. My siblings and I are very grateful that we found Silverado as it has helped my mom and dad's quality of life.

There are so many Services and places out there that finding the right memory care community for a loved one can feel overwhelming, but Silverado truly put our Clients family minds at ease. From the moment they first visited, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and full of life. The staff, which some of are with Silverado for quite a few years, took the time to get to know the care recipient as a person—not just a resident—learning their story, routines, and preferences. The level of compassion and respect shown here is remarkable. Every team member we’ve met has gone above and beyond to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. What we appreciate most is the peace of mind Silverado has given our care recipient and his family, knowing after it was time to leave home there is another safe place to be. The family knows their loved one is not only safe and well cared for, but also valued, engaged, and surrounded by people who truly care. The program of mental, physical and other engagement at Silverado is second to none. We would highly recommend Silverado to other families looking for exceptional memory care.

I absolutely recommend Silverado for Alzheimer and Dementia patients. My aunt loved nature and the outdoors so the Silverado grounds were like home. The staff truly cares for their patients and treats everyone like family. They kept me updated on all changes and were very supportive and respectful throughout the duration of her care. The family was blessed to have Silverado of Belmont care for our loved one during this very difficult time.

We placed our mother with Silverado Memory Care in Belmont because its location was still within the general area where her friends lived and where she could attend church accompanied by a caregiver. She lived there for over six and a half years. Silverado facilitated the caregivers assisting her with church visits until she no longer wished to go. Silverado also identified a home care doctor and dentist to provide her with medical and dental care while at Silverado. Staff were tender and kind with her, and her room was comfortable and well lit. Most of her time she spent in the dining room of the wing where she resided. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Silverado did their utmost to keep all residents and staff safe prior to the vaccine. When vaccines became available, Silverado nursing staff organized clinics for vaccine administration and we approved Ruth receiving the vaccine, as well as flu and others. They routinely informed family members whenever staff or residents contracted the COVID-19 virus; at times early on visitation was curtailed until safer conditions prevailed; we as family appreciated this attention to public health precautions and procedures. As our mother declined, Silverado facilitated her transition to hospice care. It has been clear these six years that everyone associated with Silverado is well-trained to provide service and care that is humane, sensitive, inclusive, and compassionate. While they are hardly the least expensive option for families considering memory care for a loved one, Silverado is sensitive to cost concerns of families, and one time lowered my mother's rent and board about 10 percent, subject to annual cost of living adjustments, in order to keep her continuously housed there. We financed her time there largely from the proceeds of sale from her condominium placed in a trust account to her benefit. I wholeheartedly recommend Silverado Belmont Hills to anyone should they need memory care for a loved one.
