As a family member of a resident, I’m very disappointed in the quality of care at this facility. The management seems unorganized, and many of the nurses and staff have unprofessional attitudes. Call lights are often ignored for long periods. Meals are often served much later than they should be, leaving residents hungry and uncomfortable. The cleanliness is also a major issue, there have been ants and roaches in the rooms. Staffing always appears short, and even when there are enough people on duty, they’re not attentive or helpful. Families deserve peace of mind knowing their loved ones are well cared for, but that’s not the case here. Honestly I do not recommend ill be transferring my mother to another facility.

We were very impressed with the cordial level of service in the dining room. Also loved visiting with current residents who had very positive things to say about Signature Pointe. Premises were kept in pristine condition. The unit we toured was exceptional.

I was transferred to Signature Pointe post full hip replacement reconstructive surgery. My surgery was complicated and required additional physical therapy before I could safely go home. In a single word: NIGHTMARE I was transported via shuttle bus, and that gentleman wheeled me into a room, assisted me into bed, then left. I had no walker, no wheelchair, no call button, and all my belongings were across the room. I was at 20% on my cell, but after laying in a wet diaper for several hours I called the facility directly and was transferred to the 3rd floor, no one answered. I called back twice and no one answered the main line. I then called my daughters. One came up to settle me in, the other got on the phone. It was several hours before anyone entered the room where they stated no one had told them of my arrival, a fact later disputed by management, who claimed they personally handed the nurse my file upon arrival. They changed my diaper, refused to provide a walker or wheelchair so I could go to the restroom. Then left. My daughter had to locate ice and set up my 24hr, hospital ordered, ice machine, AFTER asking the staff multiple times. Every day of my 5 day stay was traumatizing, so I'll just summarize. - half hour to four hour response to call button - no meds for almost 24 hours, including the pain meds - meds borrowed from other patients - not allowed to shower, asked repeatedly and was told I had a specific shower day, but no one could tell me the day - multiple times during night shift where there were ABSOLUTELY NO employees found anywhere on the skilled nursing side of the facility for hours - multiple complaints made via phone and email by my daughter, frequently unanswered - injured due to an almost fall, took an hour and a half for a nurse who was NOT on duty to respond to my screams for help, took an additional 20 hours before they provided an x-ray for possible damages, results I never received - had to check out early for my safety - meds never accurate - lived in constant fear - only received PT 3x in 5 days, for 20 minutes, which was the only reason I was transferred there - on the final day the administration visited in response to my daughter's formal complaint, their only concern for the issues mentioned above was the "unprofessional" comment a nurse made that there were no nurses on the floor - 100% neglect, the 2p-10p shift being the worst I cannot stress this enough, please do not send your loved ones to this facility unless you can visit daily and dedicate a lot of time to managing their care. My story is not an isolated one. I heard other patients screaming and crying with no response from nurse or staff. Roaming staff shared that this is common here and lawsuits should be filed. This place is not safe, not caring, not even glorified babysitters. They we absent.

If Zero rating was available, I would jump at it the wound care nurse Chaz was extremely horrible, he exhibited the worst wound care ethics, I would dread his visits and occasionally refuse or go in to hiding right before wound care. He caused me pain and even more damage during wound care. When i raised concerns he would never respond or respond in a very cold manner. If you are going for wound care to this place. I highly recommend you look else where cause speaking to other people with wounds that were being care for by Chaz, they said the same thing about him. Management was notified and nothing was done about it.
