September 2025. A nice place and well maintained. Clean. Pricing is reasonable and not so a la carte as some of these facilities are. More of the amenities are included in the monthly rent payment. We have not had our loved one they're very long, but at this point the care and attention appeared to be very good. Concerns have been brought up that are legitimate and were looked over and past facilities and nursing homes.

Outside and lobby looks good.. but the memory care units, god bless those people. Its filthy, the rooms smell, there trash over flow in the cans, the elderly folks don’t look well, not well groomed. Food services look decent. Staff are nice, but it seems like it’s unmanageable.

My brother has been a resident at The Shores for three years. The staff is extremely kind and thoughtful. His suite is plenty large for one person and he has made it comfortable for him. The food is really good home cooking and healthy. Don likes fresh fruit and he is served as often as he likes. He has had speech ,physical , and occupational therapy and the therapist are excellent. Don considers the Shores his home and we are thrilled he has adapted and grateful to the staff for helping him with his transition.

My sister Michele was a resident there for only a short while. I wish she had moved there 6 months earlier while she was more able to care for herself and get around. A very nice place with really good people like Jeremy and nurse Jannesa. They were great to have there to talk to. Thank you, Shores of Phalen, for making Michele's last few months as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
