This used to be a nice place. My mom moved in 2020 the building was clean no pests or bug issues. Currently everything about that building is horrible. It's nasty unkeeped mice, bed bugs and roaches. Elevator consistly going out. The machines are always not working. I would not recommend this place for anyone you love. None of the issues gets addressed properly. Don't waste your time the building is getting worse and worse.

Senior Suites on 8300 Cottage Grove: A Solid Choice Overall, I've found Senior Suites on 8300 Cottage Grove to be a pretty decent facility. It's not the flashiest place, but it offers a comfortable and secure environment for its residents. What truly stands out here is the staff. From what I've observed, they are genuinely caring and attentive to the residents' needs. They seem to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere, which is so important in a senior living setting. A special shout-out needs to go to Valerie, the administrative assistant. She is an absolute gem! Every interaction I've had with her has been pleasant and efficient. She's incredibly helpful, always willing to answer questions with a smile, and goes above and beyond to assist both residents and visitors. Valerie's warm and welcoming demeanor truly makes a difference and contributes significantly to the positive feeling within the facility. While there might be areas for minor improvements here and there (as with any place), the dedication of the staff, and especially the exceptional support from Valerie, make Senior Suites on 8300 Cottage Grove a solid and reassuring option for senior living in the area. The peace of mind knowing there are caring individuals like Valerie on hand is invaluable.

I wouldn’t recommend this building at 8300 S Cottage to anyone. Needs to upgrade all Apartments!!!

It is so nice and clean and it has a lot of stores for my Mother to go to by herself
