Salterra at Dunedin

My grandfather recently had to move quickly into assisted living. The team at Salterra went above and beyond in every way possible to help our family out. Prior to moving he was isolated and seemed depressed. Now, because of the awesome staff, support, encouragement and activities offered, my grandfather is active again! He has independently chosen to go to everything from Happy Hour to the movie theater, from art groups (shocked he did this) to a scenic bus trip. He has told us many times how much he enjoys it there. When you ask any resident they will say the same. We couldn’t be happier!

5 star review for everything! My 81 year old father lives at the Dunedin home. I went specifically to the website to send a message with the hope that my message is forwarded to the GM of the home, and also to the CEO of the company who owns Volante. I live in Nice, France so I am not able to see my father often. I would like to thank the Management and compliment all the team on how great this Dunedin home is; ALL the employees take such great care of my father -- thank you!!! I would especially like to say that Joan is very caring and helpful, and she goes out of her way to ensure my father is doing well. I also want to thank Carol (from the UK) and Kayla -- these ladies go out of their way to ensure that my father is doing well. I highly recommend this home to all my friends -- for their parents. I hope this positive comment is shared with all the employees especially the 3 employees that I mentioned. Great caring service by everyone - I highly, strongly and very passionantely recommend this Senior Living home to whoever is considering a Senior Living home -- from my experience this home in Dunedin is the best.

Absolutely disgusted. They charged long after they kicked my parents out. They helped with nothing. Everytime we called they were useless. I had to leave messages when I visited and when I called for someone in management to call but they never did. Totally disgusted. And they refused to move my dad to single room to charge us less after kicking mom out then months later they sent 45 eviction notice to my Dad without even contacting us knowing he would not know what to do!

Ruby,the Executive Director is the reason we originally chose this facility. Their Memory Care has a number of activities to help stimulate the residents minds. Chandler is the Activities Director. He is caring and very intuned with the residents. He's an excellent manager with great PR skills. The meals are average, like all facilities there are challenges, no place is perfect, but Volante of Dunedin has been a very positive choice for our mother. I would highly recommend this place.
