Rosemark at Mayfair Park

Taking a moment to share what has been a very positive experience, moving my 80 year-old mother to Rosemark, as she increasingly suffered from the effects of Alzheimer’s, which ultimately prevented her from living in her Florida house alone. Rosemark was fabulous in evaluating my mother and helping her settle in to her own one bedroom apartment complete with a partial kitchen, huge windows and a lovely view. The physicians who frequently visit the facility were able to fine-tune my mother’s couple medications, and the improvement in her sundowning and confusion has been dramatic. My mother has made multiple friends and is allowed to roam independently throughout the very nice facility and lovely grounds. You can frequently find her near the fireplace, the library or in the gym ! The mood and energy at Rosemark is VERY relaxed, there are numerous activities and outings and residents are basically allowed to do what they want to do with gentle guidance and help occurring in the background. The nursing staff in particular has been fantastic. Manya and Linda have been fabulous about connecting with my mother and keeping us up-to-date on how things are going. Food : Residents convene in a beautiful dining room and are allowed to order off a menu almost like they’re at a restaurant and the food and beverage staff are extraordinarily kind and patient. My mother has been mostly happy with the food which we supplement by shopping locally for snacks and treats which she keeps in her own little kitchen. There’s even a coffee service set out each day and frequent happy hours at the beautiful bar in the common area. I cannot overstate how much better of a situation this is for my mother versus the prior memory care center we tried in Florida. Thank you, Rosemark for helping make our bewildering journey with Alzheimer’s a little bit easier.

My husband has been a resident in Monarch House, the Memory Care Unit of Rosemark for over a year. We chose the facility long before the specific need for Alzheimer’s care was necessary. The safe, personalized care and closeness to our home was important to us. The daily activities, social interaction and personal connection with the staff is reassuring. The availability of the 2 courtyards, blooming flowers and greenery are a plus in creating a stimulating environment for residents, families and staff. The monthly Family Council Meeting are one of the many ways that the families can express concerns and give compliments to the entire management staff and for specific concern there is always an open line of communication. As with any personal care facility there can and are concern that occur but they are addressed promptly and professional.

Earlier this year we were looking for an assisted living facility for my husband. Rosemark at Mayfair Park was one of our top choices. It is a place that has many great amenities, scale of facility, staff, great atmosphere & medical team. The music therapy program is amazing for involving many, many residents. To see the joy & fun by them was very heartwarming. A standout individual is Haley Silva, Sales Advisor. She was a huge source of information & support as we researched various places. She went out of her way to accommodate & coordinate many follow up visits (some on very short notice), checked in on outcomes, was very open & transparent in providing access & information. What we noticed is how engaged she was with the residents. She knew them by name with a level of personalized connections. This is not the case with many other places we visited. Ultimately, we had to select another facility due some specialized needs but I highly recommend giving Rosemark a look & meet Haley! She's great.

I am a resident here at Rosemark. I have had an excellent experience here. I have been to other places and Rosemark is the best. The food is great and the staff is friendly and professional. I must give praise to Meeshi our music director who has revolutionized Rosemark. He brings a healing joyful energy to the milieu and has added many musical activities. He helps the residents come out of our shells and sing and dance. He has helped me to the point of leading music weekly. He is devoted and caring.
