I have worked at Rose Arbor since this summer and have loved it!! Upper management is always helping us grow, update and provide the best quality care and items that we can. The food is fantastic, the cooks are always whipping up something delicious. Always greeted by a friendly face and have enjoyed being part of the journey as we grow.

I visited my brother today. After calling several days ago and reporting that his pillows, bedspread, underwear and TShirts were missing, there was still no sign of these items. No one has called to let me know the status. I have purchased new items to replace all that is missing but am concerned about the safety of his possessions at this facility. Today his TV remote was missing so there was no way to turn off the TV. Does someone check on him at night? I wonder if he has to sleep with his TV on all night.

My grandmama Carol used to live at this location a year ago, but we had to move her out because of the horrific conditions she faced here. To start she kept saying that her favorite staff members kept disappearing without notice. One day they would be there and then next they’d be gone without even leaving a note. When she asked staff members what was going on, they would reply in cryptic half-answers, cold dismissals, and sometimes mock her for even asking. I agree with my grandmama though, something shady was definitely happening to those nice souls. We still pray for their safe return every night. However, that’s not even the worst part. Her neighbors room smelled of stale urine. The smell was so strong that it permeated across the whole floor she was housed on. It was like a poison, a fetid miasma that clung to the air, and it wasn't just a whiff here and there—it was everywhere. It soaked into the walls, the floors, the very fabric of the building itself. We couldn’t get away from it, no matter how much air freshener we sprayed or how many windows we opened. My sweet grandmama, in her frail voice, complained about it. You’d think she was asking for something simple, right? For the place to be clean, for the dignity that should be afforded to every elderly person. But no—Vince, one of the staff, looked her dead in the eye and snarled, "You’ll just have to live with it." Live with it? What kind of person says something like that to a frail, aging woman who’s barely able to stand? When we complained to the management about this, they called us liars and said they were unaware of any such smell. Which ended up being the final straw. No one calls my gran a liar. So, after that we moved our sweet gram gram out of this cesspit. The cherry on top was when we were moving her out, we found a ton of roaches underneath her bed. We immediately contacted the Department of Health Services, but like everyone in this place, they never responded. Maybe they don’t care. Maybe they’ve given up like the management has given up on these elderly folks. One thing is for certain, they have a special place waiting for them down below when their souls finally depart this plane.

Visited mom in Memory Care, Magnolia Trails. They were in Great Room watching movie with popcorn. They were enjoying it. Kay told me mom participated in exercise that morning which is rare. Good visit
