There is so much to love about Trillium Woods. My wife and I have lived here for just a year now. We are the first (out) LGBTQ+ couple here and we have definitely been welcomed. We love the food. We love the pool & jacuzzi. The activity options are endless. The grounds and neighborhood make it feel very parklike - trails and lakes within walking distance - a huge plus for walks with our dog.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-Star Care at The Birches at Trillium Woods I received excellent care at The Birches during my recovery from foot and ankle surgery. The nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists provided outstanding professional guidance that helped me regain confidence and prepare for a safe return home. What made my stay truly special was the kindness, compassion, and emotional support shown by every staff member. During some difficult and painful days, their encouragement, respect, and attention to the small details brightened each day and made me feel genuinely cared for. The meals were delicious, and the Food Service staff went above and beyond, remembering patients by name and personal preferences. The Birches played an important role in my healing journey, and I will always be grateful for the exceptional care and support I received. Thank you to everyone at The Birches for your dedication to helping patients recover with both professional excellence and genuine compassion.

’Twas in 2015 , when we had been retired for 13 years, that we started seriously giving up our 10 room home for something smaller and requiring less maintenance. Proximity to our children rose to the top criteria. That brought us to the Twin Cities, but not necessarily Trillium Woods. After visiting several facilities, we finally stumbled upon TW and stopped looking. Abbie and I have now lived here for ten years and regret not a day of it. The friendly neighbors introduced us to many opportunities for participation, and there is little that we have not at least sampled. Speaking of sampling, the food department offers such a wide array of choices, and outstanding service, that no other element is necessary to convince one to come here. However, it would be unfair to ignore all of the other things that have made our choice of TW so gratifying. We have taken advantage of most of the activities provided through the leadership of members of the Community Life Services staff and committee, one of fifteen committees sponsored by the Resident Council. None of the activities or events are mandatory, but we are grateful to those who organize such fun and enlightening events. Being near our children is what brought us here, and they see how wonderful it is for us, but we have lifted a burden from them, knowing that we are in a home surrounded by friends and staff that can care for us if we need immediate help. I feel so fortunate to live in independent living at Trillium Woods. It is a vibrant community of great activities, caring, lively residents, and fabulous food . Whoever thought in senior years one would make so many new good friends. And when help is needed , it is abundant with qualified, caring people. It is easy to live your most active and thoughtful life here with great joy. Jane Johnston, 10-year resident
