RFSL has an outstanding location and the building is ideal for Assisted Living and the staff (if they last, this place has 165% turnover per year) are well intentioned and coming from heart. The owners keep the budget very lean, so do not expect good food or a high level of care. All in all, if you love being in a small charming mountain town and do not mind a few less conveniences, this is a good option!

at 67 and experiencing health challenges regarding my mobobility and a few other challenges. after evaluating my situation for several monts i had to come to the conclusion that i needed to put myself in a safer environment and have some assistance when i need it. uggg. i evauated several options which were all competitive and respected. ultimately after several discussions with leadership of rfsl and having the opportunity to have a nice studio overlooking the roaring fork river and seeing the top third of mt. sopris, i felt comfortable accepting this as my new home. so far i am confident my decision was correct. needless to say, but will, it is tough from living in a rural area i loved with wildlife, privacy and open spaces. but now that i am here settling in and adjusting it is feeling like home. staff is great, very caring, friendly and attentive. beautiful well kept facility. so far i am happy with my decision and believe that will only be confirmed more so as time goes on.

Our beloved matriarch Elsie Oaks passed this April. She was 2 weeks shy of her 100th birthday. She got very good care. Special thanks to Courtney, Danielle, Kimmy, Evelyn ,Monica and other great caregivers. Cindy and I respect and appreciate how well you all do helping families through last phase of life's journey.

I work for an outside healthcare agency and I have a few clients here at this facility. I think the staff is absolutely wonderful, they’re all very sweet & very caring towards the residents. The staff makes all of the residents, and visitors feel very validated, they are truly outstanding The building is absolutely beautiful and it’s very well maintained. I would put any of my family members here without a doubt. I absolutely love this place
