Renaissance on Peachtree Reviews

Great experience so far with Renaissance on Peachtree! We recently moved my mom from a 55+ apartment to independent living at Renaissance. The sales and move-in teams were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful all along the way, with excellent communication and turn-arounds on getting answers. My mom is still getting settled, but is already feeling totally at home (she says she LOVES the apartment, which never said about the last one!) and the staff have all been super attentive and friendly, which helps with the adjustment. And I have a lot more peace of mind knowing there is always someone there to help if needed. Highly recommend Renaissance on Peachtree for senior living!

If you are looking for a place where you can trust your loved one is being consistently cared for without constant oversight, this is not that place. My experience with Renaissance at Peachtree was deeply disappointing. During the initial process, the sales and orientation experience is strong. You are presented with a clear picture of attentive care, including promises of regular wellness checks every two hours and reliable transportation services. Those assurances played a major role in my decision. In reality, those promises were not consistently delivered. There were multiple occasions where my mother was not checked on as expected. Weekends were especially concerning, as the level of attention noticeably declined. The transportation services exist, but they do not operate in the way they are presented during the sales process. Food service was another ongoing issue. There were times when meals were inconsistent, and in some cases inadequate. What stood out most was Christmas Day. While I had already planned to bring my mother home, the meal she was served that day was unacceptable, especially considering the cost of this facility. It raised serious concern for residents who do not have family advocating for them. Housekeeping and laundry services were also far below expectations. Weekly cleaning was part of what was promised, but in reality, it was inconsistent at best. Most times I visited, I found myself cleaning my mother’s apartment, including her kitchen and refrigerator. That should not be the responsibility of a family member when those services are being paid for. Laundry was also an issue, with several instances of clothes being returned damp. Maintenance and overall responsiveness were lacking. Issues required repeated follow up, multiple conversations, and ongoing involvement on my part. For the price being charged, I expected a much higher level of consistency, accountability, and care. To be fair, there are individuals on staff who genuinely care. Veronica was consistently helpful when available, and the valet attendant, Jose, was always kind, professional, and supportive. They stood out in an otherwise inconsistent experience. Overall, while the property presents well visually, the day to day operations do not match the expectations that are set upfront. The facility appears understaffed, and there is a clear gap between what is promised and what is delivered. I ultimately moved my mother out, and I am relieved to no longer have to manage the level of oversight that was required. I would not recommend this facility unless you are prepared to be highly involved and constantly follow up. My experience did not provide the peace of mind that families should have when placing a loved one in care.

I am just getting familiar with all there is at the Renaissance and am not the person staying there. It is my brother in law. He has reported to me that he is very happy and is getting acclimated to a new way of life. Mrs. Mary Brook Green has been extremely helpful to all of us and I want to thank her for her knowledge and care. We continue to look forward to learning to adapt to living in an environment outside ones own home. The help we have received helps in this process. Thanks

I did a tour with Mary at Renaissance. She is so thorough and shows you what type of apartment you are asking to see. She is very friendly and answered all my questions. I hope to rent here because of her attention to details.
