    We’ve been here almost 4 months and we find that the people are interesting, welcoming & very open to sharing information about Reata Glen. They’re very willing to help us learn more as new residents. I’ve enjoyed the water aerobics, Spanish class & hiking club. My husband & I have enjoyed the restaurants. The staff here are very friendly & available to help us with any questions that we may have.

    I moved in a few months ago & I am loving my apartment. A big reason for that is because of my neighbors, they have been very friendly. As a new resident I have been asked to dined with others so I never have to eat by myself, other residents are very open and inviting to me. My neighbors have invited me to a weekly breakfast-get-together to get to know other new residents. Before moving in I looked at other senior communities, and Reata Glen beats them all. The residents/staff here are great.

    The food here is great. The chef needs to be commended for his great service, it’s like eating at a 5 Star restaurant every night. The management and staff here are exceptional, I want to make them all my friends. Dinner time is my social hour, I meet so many interesting people during that time. The grounds on the property are well kept. All in all it’s like living on a cruise ship that never sets sail.

    I was encouraged by my family to move here. My wife passed away over 2 years ago, and I was a hermit for 2 years. I didn’t have a lot of outside contact during that time. I took care of my wife for 8 years 24/7 while she was alive. Being a “cloistered” personality is not my normal routine. I found Reata Glen after looking for 6 months, I’ve been here for 8 months, best move I ever made. Not only does it relieve me from responsibilities like cooking, cleaning, maintenance, entertainment & social contact - it overall takes the pressure off of me. I have come out of my shell since living here and I have met a ton of people, and created many friendships. My calendar is too full at this point with activities, and I probably should’ve done this 5 years ago, however my wife was not interested in moving into a CCRC. As far as the amenities go, I looked at 8 different CCRC’s before moving here, and finally settled at RG. Best decision I’ve made in a long time.
