Primrose is a beautiful community that allows a loved one the opportunity to “age in place” as it offers Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care options. So many staff members have been on the team since the community opened, they know the residents well and residents feel comfortable and “at home” with them!

My mother was a resident in the memory care facility at Primrose. Staffing at the facility was certainly a concern. There was significant turnover and several of the nurses made mention of it when I would visit. Due to that, they increased my mother’s level of care, noting that they did not have enough staffing to care for her. It was apparent that they did not have the experience needed to care for the memory issues of the residents. At one point, my mom sat for hours, yelling for help and they did not come. She was able to call me and I called for help but they would not answer the phones. I stayed on the phone with her until help arrived. In hindsight I should have called the police. At one point they were not executing doctor ordered care and medication. The scariest part is that these individuals have memory issues, I would dismiss some of my mom‘s complaints thinking that she just wasn’t remembering accurately. But I have several instances of firsthand knowledge of lack of care. Our elderly deserve better than this! My mom has since left this facility and is thriving. If you care about your loved one, you will not put them anywhere near this facility, unless they can take care of themselves.

Our friend has lived at Primrose Memory Care since October 2018. In those two years we have had very few minor issues. The staff are always kind to us when we visit and our friend seems well cared for. Prior to COVID we were there every week to check on her. Since COVID they have worked with me via Zoom to be able to see our friend, talk with her and know that she is okay. We are happy that we chose Primrose for her care. The rooms are clean and I have never noticed a "smell" when we arrive.

Sharon with Primrose was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Caring for an aging parent (and finding housing) is oftentimes hard and scary. Sharon was kind, helpful, and very informative. She eased my worries with knowledge, resources, compassion.
