I can’t say enough wonderful things about Primrose Retirement Community in Lima! From the moment I toured the facility, I was blown away by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the genuine care shown by the staff. The community is beautifully designed, with spacious apartments that feel like home, complete with modern amenities like a kitchen area and large, airy windows. The ice cream parlor and movie theater are delightful touches that make every day special for residents.

I recently assisted a family friend on their journey to select an assisted living community in Lima. Out of all the places we visited (and we looked at several) Primrose was the only place that he felt at home. They don't rent "rooms" at Primrose, but rather he got an entire apartment at a lesser cost than than several other places were charging for just one small room. He loved that he was able to bring his own furniture from his home, hang pictures on the walls, and have plenty of space to accommodate everything that was important to him---all while being able to receive care and assistance from nurses around the clock. The amenities are unbelievable...Primrose has an actual movie theater, and an ice cream parlor with all the free ice cream he wants. Breakfast is also served all day, so even when he sleeps in he can still get breakfast made to order. There was no other place in town that compared to Primrose. He is SO happy there!

The facility is lovely and all the team members are wonderful with the residents. As you walk the halls the staff team is consistently calling residents by name which is meaningful to me. I also value the activities offered such as going out on country drives and trying a new restaurant for lunch. It’s nice knowing my parents are attending outings that are pre-planned for their enjoyment. There are also many activities offered onsite so boredom is never a concern. Primrose is a wonderful place!

I cannot say enough about Lima Primrose community. I like to call it Primrose Resort!!!! My father and mother moved in in October 2023. My father passed away In February. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They cried with us. They laughed with us. The Support was amazing. Our closest family member lives 45 minutes away. We feel very safe, dropping my mom off at any time after an outing and know that she is well taken care of. She has friends to eat with and talk to as well as many activities to go to throughout the day. Primrose would be the only choice for us…..
