Pine Grove Crossing Reviews

We went to visit my boyfriend’s grandma who has just recovered from a surgery. Check in was quick and easy but also very thorough! The facility itself is gorgeous and all of the staff that we interacted with were incredibly friendly, attentive, and they almost all knew the name of the resident we were visiting. Not one person passed us at our table without a wave to her :) Our experience was very pleasant and it’s comforting to know our loved one is somewhere like that!

I recently toured the facility to consider as a place for my mom living with dementia. I was skeptical before I set up the appointment but I thought I would go see for myself. I was a little closed minded walking in thinking that the previous reviews I had read were what I was going to experience. Much to my surprise, I was very impressed with the facility and the real life interactions I saw between the caregivers and the residents. Christina was the person that gave me my tour and she answered every question I had to my satisfaction and even addressed the previous poor reviews they received as a community. I’m still in my decision making phase but they may be my leading candidate so far.

We used Pine Grove Crossing as a transitional place while we waited for a space to open up for my mother in law near us. It was a terrible experience. Her doctor wanted daily blood pressure readings and they did the reading at the same time that they were administering her medication so we couldn’t track how the changes in medication were working. Communication was also terrible. It would take a couple days to get a response from one of the nurses about her condition. The administration did not help us with that. There are posters all over with plans for redecorating and no help coordinating care. My MIL was miserable there.

Most of the staff on the floor is great to my mother. The woman who sits in her office all the time, I believe is Kim or Kam is very rude and does not care about the people who live there, she ignored my loved ones complaints.
