My mother has lived at Pegasus Landing at Tanglewood for 7 months on the memory care floor. She has received good care and attention from the staff. I love that the memory care residents are included in activities away from the building, like going to restaurants and taking driving “tours” of Houston. The activities at the building have also been wonderful for my mother such as painting, playing games, and getting her nails done. I only give 4 stars because there has been a lot of staff turnover, but I am hopeful with the new ownership of the facility that the new staff will continue to stay. That said, all of the staff who I have encountered have been very nice and respectful and responsive to my mother’s needs. And I know she can be a handful!

My name is Kevin Travis, and my father is here at the Pegasus Landing of Tanglewood, back in his old neighborhood, which is a huge deal for him, and our family. My father practiced medicine in Houston, Texas for over 55 years, and having a place in his old neighborhood makes him feel secure, safe, and very comfortable. Not only does the Pegasus Landing have a wonderful staff in the memory care field, but also they are extremely affordable, and it will not break you financially. In this day and age, we are all looking to make our family members last days as peaceful as possible, and the Pegasus Landing of Tanglewood will certainly achieve this for your loved one. Other places are very expensive, and don't provide effective care, this place does. I wished we found Pegasus Landing years ago. Sincerely, Kevin Blake Travis

I scheduled a tour and got a confirmation text but was turned away when I arrived on-time for my tour. They didn't greet me when I entered and were confused about why I was there. I would have understood if they called ahead and needed to reschedule, but their inattentiveness to detail when it comes to having a prospective resident raises a red flag for me. Do they struggle to manage details that are much more critical than a tour? I recommend confirming your tour before you go, especially because we all know that touring facilities and preparing for visits can be time-intensive and emotionally taxing when caring for an aging and ill parent. The lobby did look clean and the notifications board appeared to have multiple enriching activities. It's just disappointing I couldn't see more of the facilities, and I'm not willing to take the risk on a facility that we will need to be trusted with all the tiny details required for quality memory care.

My mom just moved into Pegasus Landing almost a week ago and the entire process has been great and smooth. The staff has been amazing and very welcoming. I look forward to a positive experience for my mom.
