Overview
In the heart of the St. Louis region, nestled amidst serene gardens and charming village aesthetics, there exists a place where compassion and expertise converge to create a haven for those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
“For two decades, Parc Provence has stood as a beacon of hope,” says Kathy Kelley, Parc Provence’s Administrator. “As one of the nation’s pioneers in memory care, Parc Provence is not just another senior living community. It is a village of well-being – meticulously designed to nurture the physical and cognitive needs of each resident.”
Locally owned and managed, Parc Provence has a dedicated team of memory care specialists, in partnership with esteemed physicians from Washington University School of Medicine, to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care tailored to their unique needs. As Kelley explains, “Each of our residents lives in one of five households within the community. Households are defined by similar abilities and care requirements, meaning each resident is part of a community with similar needs. Events and activities that occur within the household are tailored to individuals and include no more than ten people at a time, helping to ensure individualized care.”
“Parc Provence provides a safe, structured, and supportive setting,” Kelley adds. Its specialized care allows residents to live with dignity and families to find solace in knowing their loved ones are receiving the care they deserve.
However, what truly sets Parc Provence apart is the immersive “village” lifestyle it provides for both residents and their families. For the families of dementia patients, Parc Provence’s village mentality offers much more than just peace of mind. Caring for loved ones facing the uncertainties of advanced stages of dementia can be an overwhelming journey.
Discover the difference Parc Provence can make in your loved one’s life. Caring for someone with dementia takes a village, and Parc Provence is here to be a part of yours. Call 314-542-2500 to learn more.

I was searching for a facility for my Mother for when that time comes & after finding Parc Provence through a Google Search & researching what they offered, I decided to visit & take a full tour of the property & all of its facilities. I was pleasantly surprised & a lil' overwhelmed at how beautiful it was. I was not expecting anything close to what I viewed. The grounds were well manicured with beautiful flowers throughout the property. There was a Doorman waiting to greet me before I entered & once I did, it was a very warm, cozy, classic & beautiful interior with an abundance of antique furniture & collectible historic memorabilia throughout. The Staff was very cheerful & pleasant & I was impressed to learn that most of the Staff were "longtimers" meaning that they had been working at the property for 10+yrs. The actual Living Quarters were roomy & spacious & I liked that they came with some furniture already in them, but U could also furnish ur own space. The Kitchens were very contemporary & up to date. I liked that they had numerous activities for the residents to get involved in & they even have outside activities come to the property for the residents to engage with (Ex: Botanical Gardens, St. Louis Zoo, etc...). Their were 2 things that really stood out to me #1. U are allowed to visit anytime & #2. They have Doctors On Call 24/7(very impressive). I noticed on my visit that the residents truly looked engaged & like they really enjoyed the place & the Staff seemed to treat the residents with respect & like family or a special guest. U didn't see residents walking around or sitting-looking like zombies from being over medicated. U didn't see residents being ignored or treated like they didn't exist. Parc Provence is a well maintained & managed, Privately Owned facility & they take pride in their properties & the residents who live there. If all facilities were as accommodating & well managed & maintained for Aging Seniors, society & this world overall would be a much better place!! They have numerous amenities for the residents like a Gym, Happy Hour that serves Ice Cream & Popcorn, Beauty Salon where U can get ur hair & nails done. They even have a Garden where the residents can pick their own veggies. Every room has a view. The property & construction was well thought out. If I had any issues it would only be that it is a lil' tricky & difficult finding & getting to the facility, but once U find it, U will not regret it & for everything that Parc Provence offers its residents I would honestly say that it is reasonable especially when U consider many facilities who don't offer 1/2 of what Parc Provence does yet charge almost twice as much. Parc Provence gives U the best of both world's, Quantity & Quality!!!

Parc Provence looks beautiful. It is clean and well kept. However, there were serious falls of several residents over the course of several months that my relative was there, and the facility is understaffed particularly in those levels where the residents have more advanced stages of dementia. The aides spend too much time doing the dishes and cleaning up instead of attending to the needs of the residents. Although some of the aides are caring and exceptional, many of the aides are disinterested and spend too much time on their phones. I found the management to be unresponsive, uncaring and lacking in their communication skills.

Started this earlier but got interrupted! By the time I left Parc Provence, I had decided that maybe I would move in and let my wife find her own place. I already, through prior investigation, knew that the cost was higher than many of the other places I had visited. So, ambience was a necessity (it had to be a place where my wife who had Alzheimer's would live if she had a choice) but my real focus was on care FOR and care OF my wife. Let me assure you that Parc Provence checks all the boxes: ambience, room details, other amenities, but most of all: CARE and CONCERN. The layout and design of the facility is beautiful, welcoming and spacious. The activity schedule is stimulating and inviting. The room is spacious (but not so appealing that the resident doesn’t want to leave) and food is prepared on site and makes my own culinary expertise fail in comparison. I left wìth the knowledge that should I have to place her in a facility….Parc Provence was the place. Looking for a Memory Care facility for someone you love? Love surely can be found at Parc Provence. And, for a comfortable and informative presentation, talk with Michaela and Andrew.

My mother had been to two previous memory care facilities prior to coming to to Parc Provence. I am in no way putting down other facilities as I have seen firsthand how absolutely devastating Dementia and Alzheimer’s is and the nurses, caretakers, and all employees that choose to care for these patients are incredible!!!!!! That being said, the caretakers, nurses and all staff members at Parc Provence are fiirst class all the way and second to none!!! Though my mother’s time at Parc was only 6 months long, from day 1 the staff made mom feel comfortable, safe and loved each and every day she was there. Mom passed away earlier this month peacefully after a 4 year battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Thank you Parc Provence for helping our mother and our entire family with this journey. Sincerely Bill C
