Our House Senior Living – Eau Claire Memory Care Reviews

My wife has been at this Our House facility in Eau Claire since June of 2024 and as her POA I visit with her almost everyday. Admittedly, over time there have been good days, and some not so good days in my overall care evaluation and satisfaction that the staff was providing for my wife's daily care. *HOWEVER, back in mid January of this year (2026) after an Upper Management Onsite review, which ultimately led to a new site director leadership change. A lot has now CHANGED, and has brought about a breath of fresh air into this facility, and the level of care that is being provided. As a visiting POA I can see it in the staff, in their daily teaming efforts, and in their compassion towards all of the residents under their care. The new Director (Makenna) is very dedicated and has truly brought about a Caring and Loving Atmosphere for all. The Staff has her respect, and this is very evident, and has been on display each and everyday that I have been there as a POA visiting my wife. So, this coming June (2026) it will be 2 years that my wife will have been here. *And, I would definitely recommend this location, it is a smaller facility. which I like a lot, and with my wife's wandering tendencies, it is a safe, loving and familiar space/place for her to live!! *We all have high expectations for our loved ones, and I know that the Management and Staff at this location are fully aware of those ever changing expectations, and are dedicated to achieving those goals and needs as we express them over time. Emailed the head person for this place regarding drug use with employees and they disregard it and refused to do drug screens. If you have family residing here, keep an eye on them. We provided the name along with photos of their employee doing a heavy drug and they protected her to keep working there with the elderly.

We've contacted them through email, their website and Facebook messenger about a drug addict they have as an employee, with photos to prove it and they do nothing about it. Your family is in endangerment of treated by this person since the company refuses to terminate. We have everything documented as other local agencies are involved. They'll say they have the best interest for the residents, etc here and to you, but their actions of keeping employees like this show otherwise. If anyone is interested in seeing photos and interactions between us and this company, please reach out. My name at Gmail. We ask Our House to terminate this employee
