We were very impressed with both the staff and the facility. Everyone was very welcoming. Nancy was amazing answering all our questions and showing us all apartments in the size we were looking for. The amenities are amazing. My mother was very impressed and I am sure she will enjoy her time there. We are looking forward to visiting her there.

Everyone at oakwood Hills Craft Fair was wonderful to work with, they treated us like royalty. The food they gave us was wonderful and our sales were great.

I’m extremely disappointed with the level of care and service at this assisted living facility. What’s being advertised and what’s actually being delivered are two very different things. There has been a consistent pattern of basic services not being available—services that residents are actively paying for. At one point, there was no transportation available because the facility didn’t have a working bus. Another time, there was no staff available to assist with cleaning, leaving residents without the support they’re supposed to receive. Most concerning right now is the food quality. Meals are frequently burned or simply inedible, to the point where my grandmother has been unable to eat what’s being served. For a facility responsible for the well-being of elderly residents, this is completely unacceptable. This isn’t about one bad day—it’s an ongoing issue of poor management, lack of staffing, and failure to provide the services residents are paying for and relying on. Families trust places like this to take care of their loved ones, and right now, that trust feels misplaced. I would strongly recommend others ask very direct questions and look closely before choosing this facility. I will be making this public knowledge

I am writing to formally share my feedback regarding my experience with Sonida Senior Living. Unfortunately, my experience has been overwhelmingly negative. I have found the organization to be highly disorganized, characterized by a constant environment of finger-pointing where no one appears to take responsibility for ongoing issues. Furthermore, since the hiring of the Executive Director, Amanda Prill, the situation has only worsened. I believe it is important to bring these concerns to your attention. I look forward to hearing how these management and accountability issues will be addressed.
