We recently had a bit of a family emergency which required a 10 hour road trip. Because of short notice and working schedules we were unable to find someone to care for our almost 95 y/o mom. She ended up spending a week at NorthPark Village. I didn't really know there was such a thing as respite care. It was wonderful! She slept well, ate really well, and socialized well. She was even able to try the whirlpool tub!! The staff took care of all her needs and did so in a fun and respectful way! On her last day was Mom's 95th birthday and they treated her like a queen on her way out the door. So nice to have this as an option in case a future emergency comes up. Thank you NorthPark Village Staff!!

My mom was at NorthPark for almost 2 years. She was taken care of, but more than that she was loved. There were so many activities arranged. She had her hair done each week. She loved her options for food. When it was time for Hospice, they graciously upped their level of care to fit her needs. When she had to move from her home to NorthPark we feared she would feel like she had lived in her last home. NorthPark became her last home where she was surrounded by exceptional people. We feel blessed that a room was ready for her when she needed to transition.

I think your facility is very nice for my mom. Nice and clean pretty. The only problem I have with Northpark . There could be more activities for the people in the cottages. Also, the activities you do have my mom is not interested for the most part. My mom may be 97, but she could always use some stimulation intellectually.
