My Mother lived here at Noel Manor for almost two years dealing with short staffing. On January 9th of this year she wasn't feeling right. She knocked at a neighbors door and explained that something was wrong with her physically. The neighbor urged her to press her alert button that all residents are issued. Staff showed up and assessed her as fine and she was placed, alone, back into her apartment. I called my Mother randomly an hour later and knew immediately that something was wrong. Her speech was slurred and she was unable to come up with the words she needed. I called 911 immediately, she was experiencing a stroke. Mom spent a week at Meriter hospital and then several weeks at a rehab facility. When we requested her to move into Noel Manor assisted living section, we received a letter from Manager Kelsey, stating that Noel Manor was not a good fit for my Mom due to our family expressing concerns over how situation was handled. They just sent a letter stating their position. Noel Manor then gave us a bill for $2000 for 30 days notice per contract, even though she was admitted to a rehab facility and not even living there..they also took her security deposit. They refused to even negotiate any of this fee, regardless of how all this went down. Unbelievable..beware

I am able to keep my independence while living at Noel Manor. When I moved into this facility, it was and has been very friendly; staff are willing to help when it is needed, as well as the residents being so welcoming. I knew a resident before coming, and that helped my transition significantly. The food is delicious. The culinary department is always open for constructive criticism & they've hired great staff. I may attend whatever activities that I show an interest in. The fact that the additional expenses are included with the rent, for example, utilities, basic charter, etc., is a bonus. I am very happy here!

Kirstin, the executive director, gave me a wonderful and well informed tour of the facility. The tour was very informative and well done. Her professionalism and report with both her residents and staff was a breath of fresh air. The facility was gorgeous and well kept. The grounds were equally as impressive.

My father was illegally evicted 3 days before Christmas. Rather than working with us, management dumped him in the hospital right before the Christmas holiday weekend. When they failed to provide any written notice, they violated their contract for care and the basic responsibility of any landlord. When this was pointed out and a refund was requested for care not provided, our communication was ignored. We were forced to hire an attorney to get them to respond. The place looks nice but the management is unprofessional, bordering on incompetent. EDIT: It's so interesting that so many glowing reviews here are submitted by staff members, including those who engaged in deceptive practices with my family. Some identify themselves as staff but many do not.
