We moved my mom to New Perspective last year after touring. She has been there six months, and says she has no complaints, the times I’ve been there several times for meals and the food has been good. Aside from some staffing issues and a few inconsistencies, (which in this economic climate I can understand), she has had a wonderful time. She has said “I feel like I’m on vacation!“. That makes my heart happy. As she continues to journey through her Alzheimer’s diagnosis, I am happy that she is in a place that will accommodate her at every step.

I can't say enough about this community. When walking through the doors my family felt like we were already a part of the community. The residents and staff greeted us with open arms and friendly smiles. This type of shopping can be very difficult, but Sun Prairie stands out and makes the decision so much easier.

0ur mom is currently in independent living at New Perspective for the last 2 years. The facility is always welcoming, inviting and clean. Her apartment fits her needs. Maintenance staff always responds quickly when needed. There are also specific places to go for severe weather and fire emergencies. The staff is friendly, helpful and supportive. Jan and Casey make a great team for activities provided at New Perspective. The front desk staff is personable, pleasant and accommodating. New Perspective offers a wide variety of activities. Our mom participates in bus trips, crafts, bingo, nails and seasonal parties. She also enjoys the daily happy hour and weekly music, movies, donuts, muffins and coffee. She especially likes that her family can participate in special events and can have use of the pool.
