New Perspective Mahtomedi is a little hidden gem that serves seniors with dementia. The community is an adorable cottage and feels very homey with a big, beautiful, and spacious enclosed courtyard/garden. The team is so welcoming, friendly, and take excellent care of their residents and families. The team here strives in providing excellent communication and partners with families and loved ones to provide exceptional care and services to all residents living here.

New Perspectives in Mahtomedi was recommended to my siblings and me by a nurse when our elderly Mom was no longer able to care for herself. We met with the manager - Brittney - and were immediately impressed with her and the facility. Brittney described how everything worked. She explained that their philosophy was that the facility was the residents home and the staff was visiting them in their home. We toured the facility and watched the staff and decided that this would be a good home for Mom. When she or we had questions as she adjusted to her new home, Brittney and all the staff were very friendly and helpful and worked through all issues with us. After a short time, Mom found friends and her place there. She told us she was happy she was there. If we had it to do all over again, we'd choose New Perspectives at Mahtomedi again.

We have been very happy with New Perspective Senior Living Memory Care Cottage in Mahtomedi. The small cottage feel is comforting and feels more like a home for my dad. The staff has been friendly and caring. We have also been able to enjoy taking my dad outside to the backyard garden area during the warmer months. I would definitely recommend this facility for families that need 24 hour care for their loved one.

Our mom is a resident of New Perspective Mahtomedi and we couldn't be happier with the facility and the care she receives. The staff is very attentive and engaging with all the residents. The staff truly cares for the residents and is shows in the way the care for and interact with them. We have total piece of mind with our mom being at this facility. The setting is very 'home' style. It was a tough decision moving mom into a facility, but her transition was quick and smooth thanks to the staff - mom liked it their immediately.
