My sister has been a resident since August 2024. She had a rough transition from being an independent home owner in FL to being relocated by me to Denver post knee surgery. She is in her early 80’s and was resistant to change and to her post surgery rehab. The director, Dewiet and the staff led by Mary and Erica are devoted and dedicated to the care of all of the residents. Erica has gone over and beyond trying to help Carol with her adjustment. Latarsha, Meseret and Teagan have been very loving and kind toward helping my sister. The bad side are the inevitable increases in rent each year that seem to be excessive on top of the added fees of >$1000/month for basic care. There have been the typical issues of lost linen and damaged items during the laundry but it has not been excessive and management either replaced or reimbursed us for it. They mostly have a stable staff but there has been some turn over which has been a little destabilizing for some of the residents as they have formed attachments. There has also been some turn over with the person that manages the social activities. Corn Hole toss has been eliminated as have the baking activities. They have a nice theatre room for playing board games, watching movies and having educational events. They try to be all inclusive and go all out during the Christmas holidays. I would like to see my sister get more involved with weekly excursions. I recently took her on a field trip to the Carriage Shoppes in Elizabeth where two shuttle busses had just dropped off seniors from the Parker Community Center, see last photo. I think she would benefit from doing more of these field trips where there is supervision from Morningstar for people with walkers or transport chairs.

My dear sweet mother spent her last 8 months at MorningStar of Parker in Assisted Living in the 4 story building. It is a beautiful facility and in her words, she felt loved and cared for. She also liked the food, especially the salmon. She loved all the people she met and made some beautiful friends. The activities were great too (bingo, book club, happy hour, dining and church). She also got her hair done there and it was fabulous. We also loved the in house nursing group and staff plus PA from Bloom. I highly recommend using all in house services. Everyone we touched there from admin to wait staff, aides, nurses - everyone- were so kind and attentive. I was there to visit my mom often so I to got to know and love them too. It was a wonderful place and experience for her to live out her last days. I could go home and get some rest knowing she was cared for by many special caring people at MorningStar of Parker. Thank you.

I am a physical therapist that works in dozens of assisted living communities. I can say that Lance is one of the best caregivers around! He is kind and attentive to the residents that live in MorningStar Parker memory care. He takes the time to explain each step to the resident before he does anything with them to let them know that they are safe. Just incredible!

My family and I visited for my great grandmothers 99th both on the day of her birthday and the day after for an extended family celebration. The woman who helped us most was Angie! She was very kind and helpful on both days! She helped us cut up cake at dinner and made sure we got wonderful service that night. The next day she came by and checked on our whole group and made sure we could ask for anything at any time. We really appreciated how kind everyone was and how helpful they were as well.
