If you are looking for a place that is over priced and understaffed this is it. If you are looking for a director that doesn’t respond to issues or messages and lacks any sense of control over the chaos at this facility then you you have hit the jackpot. Had my loved one there for over a year and have lost track of the number of towels, sheets and washcloths that get “lost” with housekeeping. If you are a loved one then you may as well add yourself to the pay roll as housekeeper, care giver and transportation coordinator. Erica and all the caregivers are fabulous. This is the reason I leave the loved one here. I don’t like the forced renters insurance that they are making us take at twice the rate of private insurance and I don’t like that the atmosphere is depressing and there is no comraderie among the residents. I never see anyone sitting on the veranda and residents are not milling around in the hall ways chatting. This is not the fault of management, this is the combined dynamic of the population. Next month it could be totally different but it has been an eye opener for me to remain healthy and independent as long as possible. Thank you to the staff at Morningstar. I do appreciate you.

When we moved my parents here it was great. Food was good, people that worked there were nice and caring. Over the past 4 years the price has increased dramatically and the service, cleanliness and food quality has declined. We ended up moving them to a different facility and they are very happy. The staff is very stable at the new location. The management and communication are lacking at Parker Morning Star. Keep looking if you are trying to find a place for your loved ones.

My dear sweet mother spent her last 8 months at MorningStar of Parker in Assisted Living in the 4 story building. It is a beautiful facility and in her words, she felt loved and cared for. She also liked the food, especially the salmon. She loved all the people she met and made some beautiful friends. The activities were great too (bingo, book club, happy hour, dining and church). She also got her hair done there and it was fabulous. We also loved the in house nursing group and staff plus PA from Bloom. I highly recommend using all in house services. Everyone we touched there from admin to wait staff, aides, nurses - everyone- were so kind and attentive. I was there to visit my mom often so I to got to know and love them too. It was a wonderful place and experience for her to live out her last days. I could go home and get some rest knowing she was cared for by many special caring people at MorningStar of Parker. Thank you.

I am a physical therapist that works in dozens of assisted living communities. I can say that Lance is one of the best caregivers around! He is kind and attentive to the residents that live in MorningStar Parker memory care. He takes the time to explain each step to the resident before he does anything with them to let them know that they are safe. Just incredible!
