Morning Pointe of Louisville is so good to my Meme. She is treated with the utmost respect and care. There are lots of activities for residence to do as well as beautiful dining room with space for my entire family to sit down and eat with my meme and play games. There is a variety beautiful peaceful outdoor sitting areas to visit with loved ones with cover from the sun and fans to keep the breeze circulating. The staff is so friendly and remember me every time I visit. My memes room is always clean and she is very well taken care of. The other residence appear happy and in good spirits.

We moved my mom into Morning Pointe a little over two months ago. I wanted to give it sufficient time before writing a review. As everyone generally says, the move of a parent from independent to assisted living is difficult for everyone involved. We made the decision based on physical limitations my mom started having. After multiple hospital and rehab stays we started the journey finding a good fit for her. After visiting 5 different facilities we landed on morning pointe. Overall, it appeared to be the best fit for her personality, it was close to our home, and within the costs of all we visited. The facility is well maintained and the staff is always friendly. As I mentioned above, the transition is not easy for anyone. The staff really went above and beyond to help everyone through the transition, along with the physical and mental challenges that may go along with it. A couple of key points I would like to share. First, you don't have to be alone in exploring options. We used Alee solutions which was very helpful. Another item is 24/7 care. Some facilities leverage on-call nursing. Make sure you have the right level of care for your loved one...IE if they fall in the middle of the night is someone on site, nearby, or do they need to call an ambulance because they aren't authorized to help them up. I was quite surprised how many facilites couldn't help in the event of a fall due to liability. Lastly, as with most helthcare and support type jobs, there is turnover and staff shortages. Even at a large rehab facility most of the people we asked were there between a week and year. Luckily, the core group has not changed at Morning Pointe. The front desk will quickly know your name and family. Mindy is great and her staff works hard. With anything, communication is key. People also tend to do what you inspect, not expect. I always enjoy conversations with the staff at Morning Pointe to learn how things are progressing, what needs to be adjusted, and what feedback we can share with each other. Overall, I recommend Morning Pointe. I can honestly say that I am comfortable going on vacation now that my mom is there. It's been over a year since we've had that peace of mind and freedom.

I can’t thank the morning point staff enough here in Louisville for helping show my mom and me around their awesome facility last week as we start to consider the best options for her moving forward . They have so many friendly faces who work there and help make life and growing old a little easier. The food and volunteer evening entertainment were great . The building itself is a cool place to call home with Louisville street names , derby themes and statuary in the court yards. . Thank You so much , Kris and his mom , Pat !!!
