We landed at Monarch Landing five months ago. We’re very satisfied with our decision. Moving was quite a challenge after living the last 35 years in a four bedroom home in Lisle. Last night was nostalgic, we hosted three couples from our neighborhood for dinner. They wanted to know all about Monarch Landing and we were proud to show them around and tell them about our experience. What we love most about our new home is the friendliness of the residence and staff, the beauty of the environment, access to the Prairie path, the swimming pool and delicious meals. The move was made much easier because we contracted with “Downsizing By Design“ to layout our floor plan, decide what furniture to take and pack up everything. Then, on the day of our move, they unpacked all of our boxes, organized the kitchen and the bathrooms and even made our bed. We were able to customize our apartment, turning a two bedroom, two bath apartment into a one bedroom, 1 1/2 bath apartment Thereby gaining a much larger living room/study and extra storage in the hallway bathroom originally occupied by a bathtub. Now we’re feeling pretty settled, but still finding new things to do and places to go. There’s so much of interest here!

After six months in my new home at Monarch Landing, I couldn't be more pleased. The residents are so friendly as are the very helpful staff members. With so many activities and programs, a person need not ever be at a loss for something to do. I highly recommend.

Best Christmas ever! Delicious meals in the dining room on Christmas Eve. Another delicious meal on December 28 in the private dining room with 13 family members. Servers were wonderful. The decorations were fun and lovely. We had a great time in the rec room playing pool and a horse racing game. New Years celebration was fantastic. The best is not having to plan, purchase, prepare or clean up. The staff at ML are the very best.

My husband and I have lived here for a little over 3 years and we are very happy here. We know we made the right choice. There are always many different activities to keep us busy. Recently they had a margaritas and amigas party and it was wonderful. Dining and life enrichment went above and beyond with the decor and music. The drinks and appetizers were delicious and the servers were always very attentive.
