We landed at Monarch Landing five months ago. We’re very satisfied with our decision. Moving was quite a challenge after living the last 35 years in a four bedroom home in Lisle. Last night was nostalgic, we hosted three couples from our neighborhood for dinner. They wanted to know all about Monarch Landing and we were proud to show them around and tell them about our experience. What we love most about our new home is the friendliness of the residence and staff, the beauty of the environment, access to the Prairie path, the swimming pool and delicious meals. The move was made much easier because we contracted with “Downsizing By Design“ to layout our floor plan, decide what furniture to take and pack up everything. Then, on the day of our move, they unpacked all of our boxes, organized the kitchen and the bathrooms and even made our bed. We were able to customize our apartment, turning a two bedroom, two bath apartment into a one bedroom, 1 1/2 bath apartment Thereby gaining a much larger living room/study and extra storage in the hallway bathroom originally occupied by a bathtub. Now we’re feeling pretty settled, but still finding new things to do and places to go. There’s so much of interest here!

My dog & I had so much fun participating in Halloween Pet Parade at Monarch Landing . This is just one example of the never ending activities here . Sometimes you have to choose between two that are going on at the same time ! With the choices of entertainment , speakers , game groups , committees , eating options , transportation opportunities , etc., it’s inevitable that everyone will find their comfort zone . The days & weeks fly by . Leaving my 50+ year home has been so easy because home owner responsibilities are a thing of the past . Everything is provided here and interacting with friends in many ways is the name of the game . Making the decision to move to apartment living in Illinois from home ownership in Michigan took some serious thought . The sales team here was on top of responding to questions in detail , but at my pace . As my son & daughter reported to me after visiting the community before my decision to move : “It’s like living on a cruise ship !” After moving , when ask where I live by local doctors , dentists , attorneys , etc. , the response has been : “ Monarch Landing is the Taj Mahal !”

Monarch Landing is a truly wonderful community! The residents are warm and welcoming, creating a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone feels at home. The food is also fantastic, with delicious and well-prepared meals that offer great variety. The overall environment is beautiful, well-maintained, and full of opportunities for socializing and activities. If you're looking for a top-tier senior living community in the Chicago suburbs, Monarch Landing is an excellent choice!

Monarch Landing is the best decision my husband and I ever made! The staff are always remarkably helpful and friendly. We expected that but all of them have been so much more for us. They have become our family and community. Since so many of our relatives live far from us, this community is very important for us. Combined with the incredible services ( we call this our health club) —-we are safe, happy and active.
