They accept residents who need a higher level of care than they provide staff for. Their help alert pendant system is unreliable and aides use that as an excuse to not respond to alerts. As a result, residents do not receive the level of care they are paying for. If they rejected more medically complex residents or hired more aides AND repaired their pendant alert system this would be an amazing place. The people are amazing. The residents are amazing. It could be great, if some of the operational issues were addressed through hiring and better responsiveness. ETA: I am here every day from 7:30a-noon/1p and we pay for check ins every two hours. I see someone AT BEST once, sometimes not all. This is during the most well-staffed shift.

The dining situation was another serious concern. The food was bland, poorly prepared, and often ran out entirely. Many residents were left with only sandwiches because the kitchen consistently failed to cook enough food for everyone. Watching seniors receive inadequate meals due to disorganization and poor oversight was truly heartbreaking. Care standards were also troubling. Some residents were not being regularly cleaned, assisted with hygiene, or helped with showers as needed. This lack of basic personal care left many individuals feeling uncomfortable, frustrated, and neglected. The nursing staff turnover was equally alarming. There seemed to be a new nurse almost every time I visited, making it impossible for residents to build trust or feel secure. Many residents didn’t even know who their nurse was from one day to the next, which is completely unacceptable in a care setting that relies on consistency. In addition, there were several instances where residents and staff mentioned concerns about medication going missing from medication carts. While I cannot speak to the cause, even the possibility of missing medication in a senior facility is extremely serious and demands immediate investigation. Based on everything I observed, this facility is failing to provide even the most basic level of cleanliness, safety, nutrition, and consistent care. In my opinion, these conditions urgently require review and intervention from state authorities. I strongly recommend that families look elsewhere — your loved ones deserve far better than what I saw happening here.

The place has gone down a lot since I moved my mother in July. I pick this location because of the meal choices but now most meals are not worth eating and the meal portions are smaller. Memory care pays the highest rent of all residents and is give scrapes. The employee’s are not paid well and not appreciated by the Executive Director. It’s time for a new executive Director.

From the moment we toured the facility, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly attentive, compassionate, and truly seems to care about each resident as an individual. It's such a relief to know that my aunt is in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. I highly recommend Mirabella to anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones.
