Merrill Gardens at Tacoma

My grandmother has been living here for over three years and recently celebrated her 100th birthday. **Kyroni** Kyroni at the front desk helped me plan my grandmother’s birthday celebration, and made everything super easy and smooth! She reserved a private room for the event and said we could spill out into the dining room with as much space as we needed. She contacted all the people in charge of various aspects of the planning, got ahold of a TV screen on wheels for us, and made sure all my questions were answered. She really made it easy! **Holly** On the day of the party, I was surprised and thrilled to find out that Holly was there to assist me with anything I needed to set up for the party! She truly went above and beyond—she put together the balloon arch and even blew up balloons with lung power when my electric blower didn’t work! Holly cordoned off the area we needed, moved around tables, came up with items we needed like plates and an ice bucket, etc. She totally came in clutch for our last minute preparations and did it all with a smile! We couldn’t have pulled off the party without her! I was truly thrilled with how the party turned out. It was just what I had envisioned to honor my grandmother’s centennial, and we couldn’t have done it without Holly and Kyroni. In general, Merrill Gardens is a very pleasant place, the menu has lots of great choices, the facilities are clean and pleasant, there is a nice variety of activities planned every day, and it seems like the staff take good care of my grandmother. I hope I get to live here too when I’m old enough!

Everyone here treats me very well. A pleasant home away from home! The servers in the dining room and my housekeeper Angie are wonderful. The front desk staff (Mary, Jeanette, Kylie) are always helpful. Courtney is dependable and caring. Jill is a star personality and waits on everyone. Dave on maintenance is so friendly and supportive. Lily is an eager and hardworking assistant. Elizabeth is very true to her working convictions.

Scout truly threw the party of the century! Every detail was thoughtful, organized, and full of heart. She shared the company’s history, family values, and rich culture in a way that made you understand exactly why she loves what she does. What impressed me most was how the entire team showed up. The front desk staff were involved, team members were present and engaged, and even the General Manager attended. That kind of support says everything about the leadership and environment Scout has helped create. We even ate dinner in a private room with a dedicated server! Absolutely five stars. We felt so welcomed and taken care of from start to finish.

I moved my parents to Merrill Gardens @Rosemount over 4 years ago... best decision ever! Rob and Jill do a great job keeping everything running like a machine, and Scout keeps the residents engaged with endless activities and outings. Mary, Jeanette, and Courtney make sure the front desk is always welcoming. The entire staff cannot be beat, and make every resident feel loved and valued. THANK YOU!
