February 1st, 2025, I moved to this Senior Living Center. My move was generated by my complete dissatis in ifaction with my former similar Senior Living Center. It had gone from being a TOP PLACE to a MARGINAL ONE at best. COGIR at The Narrows is a Bright Star in the Tacoma Area. It has Independent Living plus a separate Memory Care and Assisted Living Area also. A variety of Units accommodate Residents in secure & private Units and the entire building has Concierge Service with 24/7 Locked security. All Residents have separate keys and a code to get into the building afterhours. The Dining Room really shines as Attractive, Flavorful and Nourishing Meals plus take-out service are served from 7am to 7pm. Best way to put it is that the Kitchen and Wait Staff really care and positive attitudes abound just as they do throughout the ENTIRE STAFF. The Overall Attitude at COGIR is pervasive and is readily seen in the Residents also. Services such as Housekeeping & Laundry & Maintaining the Quality of all both inside and outside is well done. Units all have Cable TV & individual heat control. Two burner Stove Units and FULL SIZE SINKS & REFRIGERATORS are in each Unit. There are TWO ELEVATORS and it's convenience is great. Throughout the facility & in each Unit's bathroom & bedrooms, are Emergency buttons with pull cords for Personal Emergency. The Campus is very nice and walking paths are nice. Smaller Pets including dogs & cats are welcome there. The Best Way to see and appreciate this Living Center is to Tour It. I am very pleased to live in this Positive Environment.

Hannah was so organized in getting all the paper work ready for my parents to move in Cogir and my parents love the place. Her attention to detail made for a smooth admission. She is enthused in her job which made it fun when working with her. So amazed at how she remembers so many names and is always in a good mood.

My mom has lived here for two years and loves it! She has made great friends and does all the social activities such as Paint and Sip, pool, golf, bingo. She enjoys the food and her little dog is very welcome here! LisaR

My parents absolutely love living here. The care and community at Cogir are exceptional, and they’ve truly made it their home. The staff, especially the assisted living director, is not only professional but also incredibly kind and approachable. She goes above and beyond to ensure my parents' needs are met, and I feel a strong sense of trust and partnership with her. My parents stay active and engaged with the variety of activities offered, and the peaceful, supportive environment makes them feel comfortable and cared for. I couldn’t ask for a better place for them to call home. If you’re looking for a wonderful, caring community, I highly recommend Cogir at the Narrows.
