Our disabled brother (& brother-in-law) has been at Merrill Gardens for over a year. He has been very happy there, and has adjusted to community living very well, thanks to the sensitive and thoughtful care and guidance provided by the dedicated staff. He enjoys the food very much, and especially likes the field trips. His sense of belonging is a direct result of the staff making the effort to get to know and understand him, even as his Dementia progresses. As we do not live nearby, it is a considerable comfort to us to know that he is in the capable and caring hands of the people at Merrill Gardens.

It's easy to leave a good review for such a great community! From the first call, we felt welcomed and were very impressed. With the experience of visiting a good number of other assisted living communities, we could see that Merrill Gardens really showed the most caring and knowledgeable staff. We were most impressed with the longevity of many staff members, which is a huge when making the decision of where best to have a loved one live. The atmosphere is one of caring and compassion. The team works as best they can to create solutions and harmony in the daily living for the residents who call this community home. The staff are hard working and give their hearts and souls to the job even if it means sacrificing their own agendas. The managers are supportive and endlessly forgiving and kind. There is a reason the team has been here as long as they have. Five stars for an immaculate community full of competent Eugene's best people.
