I toured the Assisted Living with my Mom, and the entire team at Meadow Lakes, especially Shannon, was very welcoming and kind to us. We appreciated seeing the residents engaged in activities, the building was very clean and inviting, staff were friendly and greeted us and we sincerely appreciate the time that Shannon spent with us. I would highly recommend Meadow Lakes, and my Mom is now on their wait list. Thank you, Sarah

My brother stayed at Meadow Lakes assisted living for 5 months in 2021. Our family was thrilled with the services provided. The apartments were clean and the rooms had a good floor plan. He had someone check on him several times every day. The food was tasty, the staff was kind and helpful. The nurses Amy and Tina were especially understanding and caring. They were very involved with his care and I relied heavily on them to advise me how best to help my brother. It was unfortunate that my brothers health quickly declined (no fault of the facility). With that said I am extremely disappointed in the billing part of the business. My brother went to the hospital on Nov 30 and did not return to Meadow Lakes because they could not accommodate the level of care needed. We had already paid the December apartment rent plus December medical charges. We’ve been waiting for a refund of the December charges paid. It’s my understanding that when a resident is unable to return after a hospital visit because care cannot be provided then the resident is not responsible for the rent regardless of the facility’s policy. And certainly the medical services charged/paid for but never provided must be refunded. They either don’t answer the phone or they don’t return calls when messages are left. It was a fantastic start there. It’s too bad the end was not (and is still not) handled appropriately. I’d give the day-to-day services 5 stars. But how they have handled the final billing is a 1 star. NOTE: shortly after the above post the financial office (Jaybird) contacted me and made it right. We received a full refund for December. Yay!

I ran into the Director Tonee at the Care providers Conference. We talked about new changes she has made since being there and how great her staff are. She is so knowledgeable about trends in the assisted living world. Give Meadow lakes a call and schedule a tour.

Meadow Lakes has such a wonderful team that is inviting and friendly. The building is wonderful; they have such an amazing dining room!
