Our tour of Maravilla was exactly what we had hoped for. Lori introduced us to the property's plan and took us on a thorough tour of all facilities. She provided us with clear explanations of all the different ways that Maravilla offers comfort and care to its community. We were very impressed both the Maravilla facility and the services provided.

Terrific hospitality at Maravilla. Residents who participated in a pre-tour meal were very enthusiastic. It is a large and beautiful campus with great food and activities for retirees. I would recommend Maravilla for persons able to participate fully.

On the plus side: My mother made some good friends at Maravilla. On the minus side: Food is generally good, but not great. Maravilla does not know how to do pastries, and deserts are often very disappointing. As a rule, vegetables are undercooked. Maravilla business practices are somewhat unfair. When one is absent for two weeks or more, one gets vouchers for half the meals that one missed. Why not all of the meals? And, why does one have to be absent for two weeks or more? Overall, I'd say that Maravilla does not offer good value for the money.

Friend just moved into assisted living and it seemed so nice, I set up a tour for myself of independent and “casitas” a few days later. Very attractive premises, good activities available, excellent food. Park like setting within easy ride of grocery, drugstore, restaurants and a movie theater. Various levels of care available, from fully independent to assisted and memory care; no skilled nursing level. Wait lists for some levels.
