Highly recommend! I have worked in hospice care for 8 years and go in many facilities. Maplewood at Chardon is amazing! Not just because of the beautiful setting, the courtyard that is accessible to residents and the really cute front porches on all the rooms. The staff and care that is provided is second-to-none. There is always something going on to keep the residents busy and engaged. Once when I was sitting bedside with a person nearing the end of their life, employees were constantly stopping by to shower love on the person as if it were their own loved one. It was beautiful.

I’m so glad that my father has been able to move into Maplewood. Since my dad moved in, he has thrived and been in great spirits. The staff have been fantastic, the facilities are excellent both in quality and cleanliness, but also in how the setup encourages community/social community and engagement. After checking out multiple memory care facilities in the area, and having my Dad live in and experience another, I am confident in recommending Maplewood as the best that I’ve found for my Dad’s health, happiness, and continued well being.

This is absolutely a community I feel confident recommending to any family members exploring senior living options. I have personally referred many of our clients to the Maplewood properties over the years, and the feedback has always been excellent. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Maplewood for 9 years and the continue to exceed expectations in the industry. The staff is consistently warm, professional, and truly invested in the residents’ well- being. Every experience from tours, events to activities has been top-notch and thoughtfully organized.

One of our members did a short term 3 mos Respite at Maplewood at Chardon earlier this year after a fall and hospital stay and had a pleasant experience. She was able to receive both PT and OT services in the comfort of her own apartment and enjoyed all of the social excursions and activities offered. She was able to return back to her Independent Living, but should needs arise in the future, she would absolutely come back to Maplewood.
