Licensed nurses and certified caregivers are available 24 hours a day to help with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, bathroom use and medications.
TWO STYLES OF ASSISTED LIVING
Choose from our two styles of assisted living communities:
Traditional. Residents live in studio or one-bedroom suites, including private bathrooms and kitchenettes. Traditional assisted living is available at Pleasantview Care Center.
Medical model. For residents who need extra medical attention, the medical model is a comfortable mix of independence and hands-on care. Residents live in spacious single-room suites with private bathrooms. Medical model assisted living is available at Parkside Villa and Pleasant Lake Villa.

Assisted Living
A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.
Life Plan/CCRCs
Also referred to as Life Plan Communities, these communities offer a comprehensive continuum of care for residents. CCRCs offer multiple levels of care, allowing seniors to transition between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care as their needs change throughout their aging journey.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
Skilled Nursing
Skilled nursing and nursing homes are residential facilities that offer medical care and support for individuals that require a higher level of medical attention and assistance. These are staffed by licensed healthcare providers and offer a range of services to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.
Personal Care
Personal care involves assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management, and mobility support to help maintain independence and enhance day-to-day life.
Nursing Homes

I helped a close family friend tour the facility a few weeks ago, who unfortunately ended up in the hospital before being able to proceed with the process of moving. However, I have to say I was very impressed with the facility. Being in the medical field myself, I know what to look for in choosing an assisted living facility. I found all of the staff that we met to be very kind and compassionate, especially the DON. We felt an atmosphere of family, which is exactly what we were hoping to find. We will definitely be coming back once things have settled and she is ready to make the move.

When my husband and I were touring assisted living communities for my Aunt, Legacy Place Parma immediately stood out above the rest. It is extremely clean and you truly get the feel of community when seeing how the residents and staff get along and really care about each other.
