Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.
Independent Living
Designed to help older adults who want to maintain an active and independent lifestyle, these communities offer services and amenities that cater to residents’ needs, while encouraging a sense of community and freedom from the responsibilities of owning a home.
Life Plan/CCRCs
Also referred to as Life Plan Communities, these communities offer a comprehensive continuum of care for residents. CCRCs offer multiple levels of care, allowing seniors to transition between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care as their needs change throughout their aging journey.
Skilled Nursing
Skilled nursing and nursing homes are residential facilities that offer medical care and support for individuals that require a higher level of medical attention and assistance. These are staffed by licensed healthcare providers and offer a range of services to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.

We have lived at Presbyterian Manor for over 9 years both in the townhouses and the main building. We love the staff and the residents. They all feel like family. I have been in the Book club, on the food committee and the residents council. We are comforted by having other levels of care available if we need them. We advise friends to move while they are able to get settled themselves and the friendships.

From the moment we met with Ursula, the social worker, and all the staff members involved in our situation ,we received unbelievable care and support. They took wonderful care of our sister, and helped us walk through a difficult time. I’m so thankful we were able to have her placed at Presbyterian Manor.

My younger sister was living by herself in her apartment, but her health problems caused her to be nervous and scared to live alone. I started researching nursing homes and Lawrence Presbyterian Manor was recommended to me. I met with the social worker, Ursula, and she helped me with all the paperwork and questions that I had. I was concerned for my sister, and Ursula helped reassure me through the process. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful and I no longer have to worry about my sister's safety and her health. My sister is adjusting to her life there very well, and I owe that all to the care and helpfulness of all of the staff at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor. I would highly recommend them to everyone needing assistance for their loved ones.

We are glad we chose to move our mother to nursing home care at PMMA-Lawrence. We had previously tried two assisted living facilities’ but she needed more care. Since moving to LPMMA, she is healthier and more active. She gets more supervision and medical care. We like the activities, food, and friendly care. She is checked on multiple times of the day and encouraged to join in the activities. There is a regular Sunday service. They are helpful with the paperwork and easy to ask questions.
