My mother spent her final weeks here and grandmother, her final months. I have nothing but positive things to say about every aspect of the facility and the staff. The food is delicious. I found myself excited to eat lunch with her any chance I got. The activities, the support from fellow staff and residents, everything. If you LOVE your loved ones, even if they may not have much time left, consider Meadowlark. I am forever grateful for the compassion, comfort, and care they have always shown. It's hard to find a place that cares so deeply for our elderly these days. This facility is unmatched. She made it just past her 101st birthday. ❤️

After one month, I am very happy with the experience my mom has had at Meadowlark. The staff answers all our questions promptly and are happy to accommodate any adjustments to make things easier for my mom. Outstanding meals and fun activities that my mom was hesitant about, but now looks forward to, have made all the difference. The social time at meals is priceless, and my mom is enjoying the company more than we anticipated. My mom feels safe and happy, and pampered, like she lives in a luxurious hotel! Thank you Meadowlark.... you have made this transition wonderful for our family.

We found this place for my father, who unfortunately took a turn for the worse and needed more care that Meadowlark could reasonably provide. However, the staff there is extremely friendly and helpful. Not a single resident had anything negative to say about it. When the time comes, that's exactly where we are going to place ourselves! They are reasonably priced for what you get, and they are clean and the apartments are beautiful. The amenities available will impress anyone, and the food is fantastic! You can't find a better independent living facility in Lawrence!
