My mom enjoys living at Laurel Oaks. Her one bedroom apartment is the right size for her, updated and thoughtfully laid out. She's made a number of friends. Everyone is friendly and there are a variety of activities. The meals are probably the area where she and her friends have the most complaints. There are menu items she would like to eat, but she's apprehensive about excess sodium. Also, some of the food is hard to cut and about once a week she and all of her tablemates leave a portion of the dinner because of this. It's inconsistent - one time an entree will be great, a few weeks later the same entree is unappealing.

I had the opportunity to work with Kari K. Administrator of Laurel Oaks to find options for 2 of her residents this week. In both cases, just a little support from SYNERGY HomeCare will allow her residents to stay living safely and comfortably in their chosen home and community. It was a pleasure working with Kari to meet her residents needs!

Our mom is in good hands. The staff is very responsive to her needs and their communication with us is very good. There is a genuine sense of community at Laurel Oaks.
