Overview
At LakeHouse Escanaba, we provide thoughtful care in a warm, welcoming assisted living community. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Our community features activities and amenities that help residents thrive in mind, body and spirit.
We are connected to a Rehab facility next door that offers both a pool and fitness room. Our community also offers classes such as Sit and Be Fit through our local YMCA and hosts wine and cheese socials and other community gatherings. We offer church services, rosary and communion.

Very honest, respectful, and attentive staff. Also very knowledgeable about housing and other care situations. Speaking with the residents, they enjoy all of the extracurricular activities and entertainers. There are always positive engaging activities when they need something to do. Or they can sit and do a puzzle in the puzzle Nook. When I was there, these were two of the entertainers, and they were amazing! They also have a beautiful chapel room.

On 8/21/25 I enjoyed a paint class put on by Lakehouse Escanaba. Dax, the Executive Director, is very nice with a great personality. He makes it a point to speak to everyone who attends. Cindy is a fabulous host by making sure everyone has snacks and something to drink. The teacher, Lisa, is really awesome at showing us step by step to painting our work of art. The entire team shows dedication to making everyone feel welcome when you walk through the doors. Lakehouse Escanaba is the place to be for fun events and Senior Living. Please continue to have this event again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five-Star Care at LakeHouse Escanaba When my mother moved into LakeHouse Escanaba in early 2025 under abrupt, complex circumstances—juggling specialized care for my father and coordinating hospitals, agencies, and transportation—we found ourselves overwhelmed. From our very first meeting, Cindy, the Community Coordinator, was nothing short of heroic. Her encyclopedic knowledge of every local resource (moving companies, the dialysis center, rehab facilities, visiting nurses, you name it) and her effortless coordination across multiple providers put our minds at ease immediately. Under Dax’s leadership as Facility Director, the entire community runs with professionalism and genuine compassion. He’s always on the floor, greeting residents by name and answering family questions. His open-door policy made us feel heard and valued during one of the most difficult transitions we’ve ever faced. LakeHouse Escanaba was an integral partner in helping our family navigate a very challenging time. We’re forever grateful and wholeheartedly recommend LakeHouse Escanaba.
