Staff is focused on continually improving even though they have a 5-star rating. It's a great business model. When you buy into the independent living community, you are guaranteed a place for advanced healthcare needs. Even if you run out of funds. I strongly recommend this community.

LVL has wonderful, caring people providing services. Being such a large facility, it's easier to find like-minded people to make friends with and find suitable activities. Some facilities are dated but suitable, functional, and comfortable. Having a full range of services from independent living to assisted living to memory care to skilled nursing simplifies changing care needs. They manage transitions well and provide for the disposal of leftover belongings, simplifying moves for families. Lessons learned: Assisted Living and Memory Care manage medications. Your doctor's list of drugs is the source of truth. Make sure your doctor's list matches LVL's list so they are getting the right meds. Monitor med ordering. LVL is quick to order replenishment meds, sometimes not considering extras in their supply room. LVL has an on-site contracted doctor capability. Make sure you understand the process for when this doctor is utilized. Each use gets billed to medical insurance with non-covered expenses requiring payment. Avoid sending your senior to the hospital on a Friday afternoon. I've had several calls late Friday that my senior had an issue that required a hospital visit. They were sent alone via ambulance. Since we have no local family, our senior was alone there. Check on your senior earlier in the week if dealing with a possible issue and force action before late Friday. Lastly, keep in mind that coverage on weekends is not as capable nor robust. The focus is keep the boat afloat and wait until weekdays to address issues, changes, problem solving, etc.

The marketing team at La Vida Llena has been very responsive and attentive in helping our family transition our mom into their independent living community. We are so appreciative of their exceptional patience and care while making some very difficult decisions. All of our questions and concerns have been promptly and kindly addressed. Her ultimate move-in was smooth and surprisingly easy. Her place is so lovely, and she tells me often how much she enjoys it. Thank you!

We moved in recently and couldn’t be more pleased at the facilities here. We have been welcomed with open arms by a very caring staff and interesting and interested residents. The meals are fine dining. We are taking advantage of the swimming pool and workout rooms and enjoying ourselves immensely!
