My brother was in La Posada's rehab facility for 3 months after sustaining 2 strokes. Being that this facility is in Florida and I live in California it made things complicated. However, the La Posada Staff did a fantastic job of taking care of my brother, easing our stress and worries and worked with my brother to make a significant recovery. The Staff was kind, caring and patient with us as we navigated through my brother's rehab process. Plus, , prior to release from rehab, they provided excellent assistance in helping us find a nice assisted living facility where my brother is safe and cared for. I cant thank the La Posada staff enough and especially Nicole, my brother's social worker. They helped to ease our stress ensuring that my brother's needs were all taken care of.

My father spent about 3.5 weeks in the health center while battling stage-4 pancreatic cancer. La Posada’s outstanding community so deeply impacted our family during his last weeks of life. When choosing a rehab center for my father, with nine years in the healthcare field, I felt very confident that La Posada was the only place I would want him to be. Now, after experiencing your rehab center on a personal level, I am 100% certain of that decision. The exceptional employees showed deep compassion and genuine concern for my father and his care. I witnessed them treat him with the utmost respect, constantly asking how he was doing, how I was doing, offering hugs, and showing sincere care for his well-being and outcome. They made us feel like family, which during such an excruciatingly difficult time meant the world to us. Their empathy and kindness truly blew us away. Additionally, the aesthetics, cleanliness, and overall environment of your rehab center are extraordinary. A family member of mine captured it perfectly in a message to me: “It looks like you should check in at the desk to book a massage or facial. It’s so calming there and they are so available and attentive. What a blessing.” There are several beautiful touches I want to highlight. When you exit the elevator, the little waiting area with the fall ambience on the TV and the beautiful décor is so calming and gorgeous — it truly makes you feel like you are somewhere other than a rehab center. There are never any negative odors anywhere, including the hallways. The patient rooms are outstanding, from the plantation blinds to the nice furniture and coastal artwork, all of which make the environment feel more like home. The bar area across from the nurses’ station is brilliant — the mini fridge for patients and guests, the fall ambience and music on the TV above, the décor and lighting — it is all immaculate and unlike anything you would see in another rehab/nursing home setting. Being in the healthcare field, I know the ins and outs of rehab centers in the area, and I can say firsthand that La Posada uniquely stands on its own. I wanted the most “normal,” non-hospital-like environment possible for my father, and thankfully that is exactly what we received. From the rehab staff to the security team at the gate, La Posada truly has the whole package. Not to mention the independent living and assisted living/memory care components. My grandfather also happily resides and is very content in La Posada’s Assisted Living. I did not miss one day there from the evening of early October when I helped transfer my father to La Posada through the last week of October, spending countless hours by his side. I felt such peace of mind leaving their facility — calmer and more relieved than when leaving the hospital — confident that he was truly “all set” there. My father said multiple times, “This is the best place that I can be.” There is nowhere that can compete with the extraordinary level of service and immaculate environment that La Posada provides. As a third-generation native here, you can be assured that my family, friends, and I will continue to share and refer others to La Posada every chance that we get.

This is my second time rehabbing at LaPosada. It truly was a remarkable experience since I was recuperating from back surgery. The entire organization from the administrator down to the nurses the LPN's , CPN and all the PT, and OT's. The nurses especially Julia, Natu, Ismaud, Darlene,Barbara, Carol, Lande, Jackie, and many other's. Kathryn & Laura were most helpful as a physical therapist and Occupational Therapist. I received such kindness and respect from the entire staff. Medication was given on a regular basis and the food was excellent. I will especially miss all my nurses. And a shout out to Dr. Eric who helped manage my pain.

LaPosada has incredible views with top tier facilities that are beautifully decorated in classic modern design. You are always greeted with a smile even at the entrance security gate. They have graciously hosted a number of our Rotary events in their spacious banquet hall. Quite a few of LaPosada's residents are fellow Rotarians and they truly are some of the best people you will ever meet. LaPosada's onsite Chef has also accommodated our guests with multiple food allergies and you always feel like you are receiving a 5-star dining experience. Their staff are by far the most hospitable, kind, and caring people. Brad Cadiere and his team go above and beyond to ensure your experience at LaPosada is pleasant and enjoyable! Five stars for sure!
