La Posada was great for my parents when they lived there for four years in independent living. They were very happy there, it was an excellent location, the dining was great and they made some nice friends. However, when it was time for them to move into assisted living, we had to change facilities because couples are split up at La Posada in assisted-living. Had we known that when they first went there, we never would have allowed them to live there. I think it is despicable that they would split up a couple who has been married for 66 years. There was really no justification and they said they could live next-door to each other, but were not allowed to share a room. To me, that is just not acceptable. Plus, they would be charged double. Unfortunately, we also did not know that my parents did $170,000 buy in until after they had moved in. I found out later from other facilities that very few independent and assisted living facilities actually charge buy in fees. When they left, they hardly got any money back so it was just a complete waste of $170,000. Also up on leaving, La Posada tried to charge my parents $5000 to repaint the inside of their unit because they said the color was not an "acceptable" paint color. I found in my parents moving papers that they had to pick out a paint color with the office when they first moved in so it was obviously approved at that time. My parents certainly didn't paint their unit themselves and didn't hire anyone to do it for them. That was all La Posada's workers. Furthermore, it doesn't cost $5000 to paint a unit there. When I finally asked if they repainted every unit in between tenants, they said that they did. So they shouldn't be charging anything. They eventually said they would "waive" that fee. Finally, my parents were owed over $2000 when they left and I called and left messages for the La Posada office staff multiple times without getting a return phone call back. I actually physically went into the office three times to check on the status, speaking to the staff who said they would look into it and no one ever got back to me. I finally had to go to the overall manager who eventually helped me out, but it took over two months to get their reimbursement check. So our experience was good in the beginning, but terrible at the end.

The facilities are spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed to ensure the comfort and well-being of every resident. The staff is incredibly kind, professional, and attentive — they treat everyone with genuine compassion, patience, and dedication. It’s clear that they love what they do and truly care about the physical and emotional health of the residents. The medical care, meals, recreational activities, and daily support are all of outstanding quality. La Posada offers families peace of mind and provides residents with an excellent quality of life. It truly feels like home.”

LaPosada has incredible views with top tier facilities that are beautifully decorated in classic modern design. You are always greeted with a smile even at the entrance security gate. They have graciously hosted a number of our Rotary events in their spacious banquet hall. Quite a few of LaPosada's residents are fellow Rotarians and they truly are some of the best people you will ever meet. LaPosada's onsite Chef has also accommodated our guests with multiple food allergies and you always feel like you are receiving a 5-star dining experience. Their staff are by far the most hospitable, kind, and caring people. Brad Cadiere and his team go above and beyond to ensure your experience at LaPosada is pleasant and enjoyable! Five stars for sure!

La Posada rehab center facility is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and the nurses and physical therapists are fabulous. The facility is immaculate and the vibe every day is upbeat.
