If you love your people, DO NOT SEND THEM TO KINGSTON PERRYSBURG! The people do not care for your loved ones. My mother has fallen 5-6 times because the staff does not pay attention to the patients. She has short term memory loss from a stroke and can’t remember that she can’t walk herself to the bathroom so she tends to try to get to the bathroom on her own and falls because she’s so weak. The staff knows this. They accepted her as a patient but will not keep an eye on her or check on her often enough. She somehow got herself to the bathroom yesterday and had to poop and it ended up all over her, her bed and the toilet. Luckily my cousin was here and took care of her. The staff came In and stated they had to go get cleaning supplies and never returned. They would rather be on their cell phones than take care of patients. Mom had to go to the bathroom and we rang the bell twice for the nurse because mom needs help getting to the bathroom but the nurse ignored it and when we walk out of the room and find her texting on her personal cell phone and ignoring the call. These places are all about the money from your insurance but not about the care your loved one deserves.

Terrible facility. I would never send another loved one to this place. This facility accepted my mother knowing she suffers from short term memory loss and doesn’t remember how weak she is and therefore needs assistance every time she needs to use the bathroom. She is much too weak to walk yet tries to get up to go but falls because she’s doesn’t have the strength to walk and falls. She has fallen 5-6 times due to this problem. She is here to get stronger through physical therapy but until then she needs assistance walking. Mom somehow found her way into the bathroom when she had to go #2 and it ended up all over the bed, all over my mother and all over the bathroom. My cousin was here and called for help but that help didn’t arrive for a half hour. Once the help arrived the person stated that she had to go get cleaning supplies and never returned so my cousin had to clean up my mother and the mess. This place does not care about your people. This place is all about collecting your insurance money but not about taking care of your loved one. DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE TO KINGSTON PERRYSBURG!

I work for an ambulance company in the area that brought us to the facility, my partner and I received excellent service from staff, particularly the night shift nurse, Leann Evans! Quick responsiveness to the door to get us into the building quickly (in the middle of the night in winter), while showing professional courtesy and politeness. Excellent patient care and attentiveness to detail, very good experience overall!

The rehabilitation nurses on floor 3 are absolutely horrible. They do not take care of patients whatsoever. Our loved one has fallen several times we’ve actually visited to find them on the floor. Called the nurses station several times to use the bathroom (loved one cannot get up alone to walk and needs assistance- they know this) and they just ignore the lights. Found our love one in the bathroom alone and had poop all over the bed , the toilet and herself. Went unassisted as they to not answer the call light. When a family member came the nurse/aide was asked to clean up she went to get cleaning supplies (so she stated) but never returned. The family member had to clean up the mess. This what over $500 a month gets you. Would not ever recommend this place!
