Moved my mother to Juniper Village from a different facility in Pittsburgh, where she had been terribly unhappy. The staff at Juniper was extremely attentive, and caring. I spoke with various members of staff, including the receptionist, and they were all very open and kind to me, and understanding of my mother, who was a bit difficult, and suffering from dementia. The facility itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and offered a wide range of opportunities for cultural engagement, and various other activities. The outdoor surroundings were also open and lovely. I have read other comments regarding cost, but in comparison to the facility where she had been, the cost was similar, and the services, food, administration, staff, were vastly superior at Juniper. Carrying for the elderly is no picnic, and to be able to pay good, caring staff, and provide patient attention to the residents is extremely costly. I recommend Juniper Village without hesitation. I always said that I could barely deal with one difficult old woman. I admire the staff's ability to deal with dozens of them.

I highly recommend Juniper Village at Mount Joy. My 100 year old father was cared for by caring, thoughtful, professional, and knowledgeable staff for 5 months. The staff went out of their way to make sure he was safe, comfortable, involved in the few activities he was able to participate in and helped him maintain his dignity and worth as he declined. Again, I highly recommend Juniper Village.

I have had the honor and privilege to entertain here for almost a year, now, and I have seen care, compassion, kindness, love and laughter every time! Juniper Village of Mount Joy is not only a beautiful facility, but there is so much care from the staff, and thanks to its activity director, Katie Erb, there is always something exciting and fun to do! I would highly recommend this wonderful retirement community. Their slogan, "Nuturing The Spirit Of Life," is very true!

Juniper Village at Mt. Joy has been a wonderful haven for our family. After my stepfather's passing while in their care, my 93-year-old mother chose to stay and has thrived there. She's engaged in activities, radiating positivity thanks to the phenomenal staff and their amazing care. The impeccably clean and welcoming facility provides incredible peace of mind. We're grateful for the community that embraces our family, allowing us to cherish our time with her, knowing she's safe, happy, and well-cared for. .
