Overview
At Legend of Lancaster, we offer two types of senior living solutions: personal care and memory care. Residents enjoy amenities, services, and programs tailored to their individual preferences and abilities. Here, residents will take advantage of amenities such as a private movie theater, salon and spa, fitness center, and onsite chapel.
Here at Legend of Lancaster, we designed the residence to encourage socialization with neighbors and maximize independence. For example, our gathering spaces throughout the residence are the perfect spots to catch up with a neighbor over a cup of coffee or try your hand at a new card game with friends. In addition, thanks to natural, non-glare lighting, low-pile carpet, and intentional color selection, residents can enjoy an environment that decreases falls and increases independence.

Memory Care
Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
Personal Care

I got a call from Legends yesterday saying they had not seen my father and didn’t know where he was and asked if I had his cell phone number. He had been gone for six hours. They said they last saw him at 2:45 one of my family members had stopped by a little bit after 11:30 AM knocked on his door and he was not there. When the staff called me back, I mentioned to them that we believe he was not there at 11:30 their response was the person that saw them at 2:45 may have seen someone else in the facility that looked like my father. The staff called me at 5:57 to let me know that my father had just walked in the door. On Sunday I took my father to the emergency room at his request and never had any communication with anyone from legends I took him back to legends after 9 o’clock, and when we rang the bell to have someone let us in, they had no idea that he had been gone, even though he was supposed to have his meds during the time that he was at the hospital the week prior to that I got a phone call from Legends letting me know that he had taken his Walker up to motor vehicle to get his license and they wanted to call to notify me. In good conscience I cannot recommend legends to anyone or their family members. As I feel if I left my father there he would die from neglect I will be moving him to another facility. Legend Lancaster is an impressive facility. The office staff, maintenance team and care givers are helpful, professional and very kind. I can't thank them enough for taking care of our father.

I love this place. Alot of the staff are good at what they do and genuinely care about the safety and well being of the residents. Management has been improving day by day and always addresses and fixes any and all concerns and issues when residents and staff are involved. They make the residents feel at home. They give the residents activities to do that they enjoy so they're not just sitting somewhere bored. They respond to the residents ASAP, and they make sure the residents are satisfied and their care is done correctly and thoroughly. They don't miss on anything and they also interact with not just the residents but the family as well when they visit their loved ones. Overall, this is a good and professional place to have a loved one.

Legend of Lancaster is so warm and inviting! The residents are just as kind and inviting when you walk in the building, staff is always on top of everything, anything you need or a resident needs. Staff is also very interactive with families as well as residents! Rooms A whole the building as a whole is incredibly clean. This has been the best place I have seen it is an amazing place for a senior looking for a new home or for care or for a future employee!
