Very grateful for Ivy Park! My brother and I interviewed several senior living locations throughout the Bay Area. Ivy Park stood out from the initial start. You can see the genuine care and support the staff and people here provide. The fellow residents were also very welcoming and kind to my mom. My mom has some complex medical challenges and we were pleased that Ivy Park was comfortable and capable of helping our mom. It’s amazing that it has been over two years since mom has lived here and because of the support, care, activities and people she is actually doing better now physically and mentally. She is truly happy and living a full life. Environment and the right people are everything. So grateful for the staff and people here that provide the 24/7 care for my mom that she needs. We love visiting her and seeing her enjoy time with friends. Thank you Ivy Park!

My family had toured several assisted living facilities in the San Jose area, trying to find one that would be a perfect fit for our uncle. After visiting your facility, we found it to be the nicest one by far, and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, showing compassion and empathy towards their residents. After our uncle moved in, he was very happy and made new friends quickly and he looks forward to spending time with them each day. Our family couldn't be more pleased with our choice! Thank you for the wonderful care you give our uncle and the other residents at Ivy Park!

Mom has been living at Ivy Park for almost 4 years. Recently she has had some minor physical issues that has required added assistance from the IP Care and Med Tech Teams. My family is so grateful for their ability to go above and beyond to be there for Mom and help her without fail. The comfort we have knowing Mom is safe and happy means everything to me and my brothers. We’d give 10 stars if we could. We appreciate everyone at IP, entire staff, management and wonderful residents too.

I had a family member at the Memory Care at Ivy Park. He was there in September of 2024 and was removed because of an incident that happened the last day he was there. My family member has dementia and he was there so he could be supervised and given quality care. He was adjusting to a new home and was having some episodes of aggression, which is part of the dementia. His medication was being adjusted. On the day of the incident, I got a call from a police officer that the memory care facility had called the police because he had gone into another residents room and he had slapped two of the residents. He was handcuffed and taken to jail. I told the police officer that he had dementia and as a result he had some episodes of aggression and that was the reason why he was in a memory care facility. I asked about the supervision and how he was not prevented from going into another resident's room. He said I needed to talk with the staff at the memory care facility about this. My family member with dementia was taken to the police department and later released to the county hospital where he was evaluated. I continued to give them information about his condition. This was such a scary experience for my family member. He was so lost and scared. The administrator in charge of the Memory Care facility, Sahana met with me and she was very dismissive and unprofessional. In her office where we met, she had one of the senior residents who supposedly was one of the people who was slapped. I told her I did not feel it was appropriate to talk in front of the resident. When I asked about the supervision and why they called the police instead of addressing the situation on their own, she evaded answering my questions by referring to the police report. I called her a couple of times to ask other questions and she did not return my calls. This facility failed to provide proper care to my family member who because of his dementia needed supervision, understanding, support and care, instead, he was treated like a criminal. We were very disappointed and upset about the way my family member with dementia was treated in a facility that is supposed to know how to care for people with dementia. They failed to meet his needs and instead created more stressful situations for my family member and us.
