Ivy Park is such a wonderful place if you or your loved ones are looking for their next home. The community feels like home as soon as you walk in and their entire staff make you feel welcome and like you are family. Their leadership team- Karan, Daiya, Brittany, Dewanda, and Heather will do all they can to provide not only a place that feels like home, but also top notch care. If you're looking around for a wonderful community, make sure you tour Ivy Park, you won't be disappointed!

Ask questions lots of questions and then ask for it to be written into the care plan, they were not honest with me. Here are some questions to ask them. How many care givers are on staff? What is the policy if an emergency happens, are the care givers allowed to call 911? (No) they have to call a Med Tech. What is their plan for staff shortages? What ever they promise you have it in writing in the care plan? They make verbal promises they cannot uphold? Review their complaints and investigations on the community licensing. They get offended by the tough questions when you ask for them in writing. They advertise they have nursing staff, and oxygen management but really they do not. At the highest level of care we were quoted, the care plan said only ONE status check per shift. When we asked about this, they again got offended. If they get offended by your questions, they are not the place for you.

Very disappointed. 11/26 addended in response to IVY Parks response. I was not seeking placement for my grandmother you must have me confused with another potential client which speaks volumes about the number of people who are disappointed in your facility. As an advocate for seniors may I suggest you look at improving your staffing ratios, and training your staff made promises they could not fulfill, they were not honest in the ratios and services provided. I wish you well and hope you take this as an opportunity to improve your staffing and care for your remaining resident. Thank you.
