When I had to find a place for my loved one, I had no experience with facilities that could provide the level of care she needed. I was extremely lucky that the hospital referred me to Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch. I asked a contact with extensive experience in elder care to look into facilities for me, he said that Inspired Living was one of the best, if not the best, in the area. They were small, had a great staff to resident ratio and an excellent program for residents. I am very happy with our experience at IL. Everyone I meet is friendly, staff has been helpful and everyone from the top down has been open to my input regarding the treatment my loved one needs. They all care about her progress and her feelings, she is being seen by outstanding professionals for care. The one thing she consistently comments about is the food and how good it is. Apparently, it is a lot like being on a very exclusive cruise except the boat doesn't rock. When we talk about memory care, these people are providing memory CARE because everyone cares. That is hard to find. It is nice to know that if we have to go through a difficult experience like this, we get to share it with people who know our name and who care about our experience, providing care for the resident in their community and comfort for their families.

What a great addition Inspired has added to Lakewood Ranch! Cheri Lopez is now the director of activities. She has added such joy to the residents in both the assisted living and memory care side. I am a companion to one of the residents and I can see (and hear) what excitement she has added to their lives. Activities are SO important to keep everyone’s mind working. Cheri has incorporated crafts that are not only fun to make, but have everyone feeling capable and accomplished in doing things they haven’t in years! You can see that she’s happy by nature which makes everyone around her smile. On days when there is live entertainment she is up there dancing with all the residents, those who use walkers and even those in wheelchairs! You can see the thrill in their faces! My passion has always been to see that elderly people are happy and keep going in the last decade of their lives. From everything I’ve witnessed here, when it’s my time for needing assistance, I’d like to make this my home!.

One of the most beautiful communities in town. Their events are outstanding, and their love for their Residents shows. The sales team, Debra and Becca are an absolute joy to work with. Looking forward to many more years helping our Seniors.

What a community, had all good features. Loved the pool area and the restaurant type of dining, made it easy to get a variety of things for them to choose from and enjoy. Staff was attentive and spot on. They even had planned activities that fit everyone’s interest. Rooms were nice and manageable.
