Memory Care
Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

My husband lived at Highline Place the last 5 months of his life. I was thankful every day for his loving, compassionate and engaging care. I feel the experienced management group and demonstrated teamwork between clinical, medical, therapy and hospice is what sets this community apart. They helped me navigate this difficult part of life for which I am forever grateful!

My mom has advanced Alzheimer’s and had been living in Virginia with her husband, who sadly passed away in 2025. After his passing, I initially placed her in a memory care center in Virginia, but as her disease progressed, I felt it was important to move her closer to me in Denver. I visited several memory care communities, including Highline Place. From the moment I met Jodi in the sales office, I had such a warm and reassuring feeling about the place. Jodi is wonderful, and after meeting her and learning about the community, I knew Highline Place was where my mom should be. We moved her there in January 2026. The level of care and compassion we experienced from the very beginning was incredible. After a long travel day, we arrived at Highline Place at 8:30 pm on a Friday evening. I was amazed and so grateful that five kind staff members were waiting to welcome us. They offered my mom hot chocolate, carefully reviewed her medications with me, and immediately started thinking about her comfort. They even mentioned they planned to order a different wheelchair with a high back and reclining leg support to make her more comfortable. The next morning when I returned to visit, my mom was out in the main area napping peacefully in a recliner with cookie crumbs on her shirt, and another resident was sitting beside her holding her hand. It was such a touching moment and reassured me that she was already being cared for and included. The medical team and hospice team met with me the following Monday and were very attentive to my concerns that my mom might be on too many medications. They were open to reducing them and monitoring how she responded. She is doing much better now and is noticeably more alert. Every time I visit, my mom seems happy and engaged. I also receive daily notifications through their app about the activities she is participating in, which gives me so much peace of mind. They also have a wonderful chef who prepares meals and even offers to make recipes that are familiar and loved by the residents. The community also hosts family support meetings, which I truly appreciate. It’s comforting to connect with other families who understand what you are going through, and it really feels like a supportive community. Placing a loved one in memory care is never easy, but Highline Place has made this transition so much easier. I am incredibly grateful for the kindness, compassion, and thoughtful care they show my mom every day.

Our family member's stay here was very short-term, she came to Highline Place on hospice. Though she did not get to participate in any of the activities or dining, we certainly observed a lot while visiting her frequently. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to care for residents and keep them engaged as if they were their own family members. The medical staff and admin team are top-notch as well. We would not hesitate to choose Highline Place again if needed. Rest assured your loved one is in excellent hands if you find yourself needing a memory care facility.

My Mom has stayed there now for roughly one and a half years. During her stay she has had Great Care from staff and Medical staff. High Line Place is always clean, and welcoming. The meals are very good. Staff does a great job of finding creative ways to have fun with everyone that chooses to take part. Overall my hole family is very great full that Mom is receiving such Great care. Thank you.
